My son has been going to Lightbridge in Mahwah since he was 8 months old. Now 3 years old he is leaving lightbridge to go to school full time and it is bittersweet. EVERYONE is so kind, patient and gracious it is seriously such an amazing place. I will miss everyone and i'm sure he will as well. Such a beautiful welcoming place for children but also for parents.
From our first tour through the 18 months we’ve been attending, it has always been evident how much the children at Lightbridge enjoy being there and that speaks volumes. My daughter always has a smile on her face when I pick her up at the end of the day and I know she is being cared for and loved when I’m gone. Having access to the cameras adds extra peace of mind for a nervous first time parent and communication with teachers and the office staff through the app is always quick, no matter how small the matter. While we know no daycare is perfect and no one will treat our child exactly the way we would at home, we think the environment, activities, socialization, and care provided at Lightbridge add to our child’s development and life experiences in a positive way and we would choose them again and again.
My daughter really liked being at Lightbridge. The daycare doesn't have too much turnover. Many teachers have been there for several years. It is a very close knit setting, which I did not experience at the larger daycares. My daughter learned a lot before going to kindergarten. My son is a year old and also goes there. The teachers are dedicated and caring.
I really love the full day flat rate and the ability to use childcare as needed within their operating hours. I’m now starting to see that a lot of daycares in the area have two optional programs based upon morning care and afternoon care and how pricing differs depending on which you choose, but now here at Lightbridge which is really neat!
The staff at lightbridge are just wonderful. Not only are the teachers caring and loving for your children, the whole building makes the place feel so warm. Lightbridge is a home away from home for my daughter.
What I really love about Lightbridge is how they are very family oriented. The administration staff and teachers really do the best to work hand in hand with the families and ensure they meet the needs of the children.
This is the first year that my twin daughters are in school so it was natural for me as a mom to be very very nervous. I have to say that the teachers knowing this, have been very reassuring and have literally bent over backwards to make this transition easy for all of us. My daughters love the teachers and talk about them at home. We are currently so happy!!
The staff at this Lightbridge Academy are personable, friendly and foster a sense of real caring and love for the children, unlike another well known daycare just down the street.
