My wife and I joined the Lionville Y in 2008 and became regular members for many years. We enjoyed our participation in various activities, in addition to our individual exercising. Unfortunately, the COVID epidemic forced us to stop all this. Following the epidemic, my wife’s health turned to the worse until she passed in Sep. 2023.
I resumed my individual exercising and participation in various activities which has helped me to a great extent in my grief. I consider the Y my home away from home and keeps me going even at the age of 92 years.
I have great admiration and respect to All Y staff who have been extremely friendly and helpful and make it a point to know my name. Thank you all.

The Y is a great place for fitness and shared activities. People tend to be very friendly. I hope to become more involved with various classes in the future.
The staff, leadership, cleanliness, and how the Brandywine website in our connects with all the locations, making communication and scheduling effortless.
The program options are varied and numerous and create a lot of value if they are used. The fitness center is good and, although a bit small, it is certainly adequate for the number of users.
