My son had a chance to learn in a playful and supportive environment. Watching them teach the rules and sportsmanship was great, and I was impressed by how the taught how to compete without making the environment overly competitive.
Loved the mix of skill training and playing so kids are not standing in the field picking daisies if they are not engaged or confident enough in traditional kids soccer leagues.
Coaches were organized and communicated well with the kids. Appreciated the bilingual instructions.
It was a great experience. My son got to learn about soccer for the first time and was excited about it. He’s now familiar and confident with kicking the balls in the net and playing it with his friends.
This was an amazing experience for our two year old son. All of the coaches and especially Coach Salina we’re very very nice and very very accommodating.
Thank you so much for bringing soccer to an underserviced sports area on Manitoulin! It’s been wonderful to meet your instructors and see what good coaching can do. I know it wasn’t easy and you are still looking to train local instructors which I hope you are able to do.
The two coaches were great. Creative weekly themes and engaging. I did notice siblings regularly on field which was annoying. The mom would say they are “helpers” but they shouldn’t be there
We loved the learning experience. Our son had so much fun learning the many games and by the last day, he was able to do the stretches at the start by himself as well as follow game directions with a smile and giggle.
Loved coming to the classes, my only suggestion is that being in the younger class I found that the things asked of them were not age appropriate. The energy that the coaches brought was great. Our child really loved coach Jill!! She always included my child in the activities and tried to get her attention to want to do the activity.
