The coaches balance being full of energy and great ideas to engage the children in the fun of football with patience and support when needed along the way.
Little Kickers in Godalming is a really super class with friendly & dedicated coaches that are wonderful at putting the children at ease & building their confidence :)
Awesome coaches. They make it such a fun blend of play, skills and competition. I also appreciate the life skills that come from the sportsmanship, teamplaying and support. It is a very important part of my child's life
My son finds this so enjoyable each week, stickers at the end are great as he loves to show his off after. It's well run and managed. Would really recommend it.
Our son has been going to Little Kickers for almost a year now, and he absolutely loves it. We attend the Sunday sessions in Guildford, and the coaches there are wonderful — very kind, patient, and always engaging the children with different fun activities.
Our son always has a great time. He gets to play with his friends, build confidence, and enjoy the sessions with coaches he really likes. The whole team is lovely and creates a warm, supportive atmosphere.
It’s a fantastic and fun activity for both boys and girls.
I’m so pleased with the classes! My son absolutely loves going to little kickers and always looks forward to it. The coaches are so lovely and engaging they really understand him and do an amazing job channeling his energy into fun, positive activities. They encourage so many new skills, and it’s been especially beneficial for my two year old , who doesn’t attend nursery or any other setting, It’s wonderful to see him learning to sit and focus during activities!
Thank you so much to the wonderful coaches.
Great coaches who have a lovely mix of being engaging but also give the children space when they are nervous.
A huge amount of energy is brought to the lesson every week!
Really liked the organisation of it all and the way the skills built up each week. My daughter also loved wearing the football kit! I think it would be good to encourage more parent participation though as some took it as an opportunity for free childcare which isn’t fair on the coach or the other children.
This is for the Sunday morning sessions at St Thomas of Canterbury school in Guildford.
The coaches are so lovely and upbeat, it’s a pleasure to go every week. They are understanding of the toddlers’ abilities and attention spans. I personally enjoy the fact that in this group they are women although we miss coach Joe’s energy and humour.
A couple of suggestions that don’t take anything away from the 10/10 rating:
- different stickers would be cool (maybe a rotation of 4 kinds so they get a different one every week of the month)
- encouraging newer coaches to use their loud voices as sometimes they are hard to hear in a big school hall with lots of children
- chance to get a badge the following week if you miss the ceremony
The coaches are all really fun and engage the children very creatively, using role play and games. Coach Joe has developed an excellent team who reflect the enthusiasm and commitment that he has always shown at classes. Communications with parents are good. Our child loves the classes and has developed a good set of skills since we first started nearly 4 years ago. We would definitely recommend them.
