Kids all had fun and got to take turns doing things. Enjoyed smaller teams being broken up for games especially cause they can get chaotic with kids so young so this was the best way to go about it. The drills were great too.
Overall, we had a fantastic experience, and I'm highly likely to enroll my daughter in another season. The planning and execution of the activities were excellent, and the main coach consistently did a wonderful job of engaging the children and creating a positive atmosphere.
I did have a couple of observations I wanted to share for future consideration:
Age-Appropriate Activities: While many activities were perfect, some seemed a bit too complex for the 1.5 to 2.5-year-old age group. Simplifying these particular activities might help ensure all the younger participants can fully engage and enjoy them.
Coach Attire: I also wanted to bring to your attention that one of the younger coaches consistently wore shorts that were very short and revealing. As this is a family-friendly activity for very young children, I believe it's important to maintain a professional and appropriate dress code for all staff.
These are minor points in an otherwise excellent program. Thank you for providing such a great activity for our toddlers!
The coaches are expressive and good with the kiddos. However this year it wasn’t a lot of drills or new soccer skills. It was a lot of running from coloured cones to coloured cones for a lot of the “drills”. The kids got bored very fast. The first year was great with all types of kicking with both feet and hopping and moving around cones… but this year it was just a lot of running in an open field over and over.. with no real reason. The coaches also wasted a lot of time sitting around to switch for match. This could be used time to set up maybe two games instead of one. Lots of boredom for the kids when this is the age to keep them busy and learning and excited.
The staff were always cheerful and inviting. I really loved the groupings of ages this year, so both of my boys (two years apart) could participate in the same slot. The matches were the favoured activity, but overall, the boys enjoyed each class.
We have done a little kickers off and on since my children were two years old. We love the coaches and their enthusiasm. They are kind and compassionate. They seem to enjoy being out there with the kids and they enjoy what they do. It’s well organized and the coaches seem to really try to make sure the kids have a good time.
