I signed my boys up for a 5 week course. The first week it stormed so we missed that week. I had to call wednesday and ask to see when of if the time would be made up only to find out they would not be made up. You need to work on communication with the parents because i didnt know if we missed a week it would be refunded and time would not have been made up. You could have added on 30 minutes to 2 of the classes to make that one day up. Next problem we had three different teachers within this 4 week class and all they did every week was go over the same drills with them and then attempted to let them free swim on the 3rd session. The forth session they didnt even practice the free swim technique. They went back to the same drills they started out with. My kids didnt even know how to float by themselves by the end of this course. So in my eyes it was very disappointing and a waste of my money. However there was one sub. A male and i didnt catch his name but he had more interaction with my kids and talking and explaining everything so they would understand. So find out who he is and thank him for me personally. I plan on signing up for another swim class but i will not bring them back to lrac. Not to mention the price is a little high. I guess the saying "if you pay more you learn more" is a lie. I will say the other instructor's were nice. But there was no order. Everytime a new instructor came they were taught the same thing every week. But i talked to another lady and her child had the same person every week. And by the 2nd time her child was at least floating on his/her own. This comment is for all three of my sons. Bradley bryson and jaylon. Good day
Club continues to look dirty inside.
Inside courts have crap all over them-area behind indoors courts needs to be picked up and cleaned up.
Outdoor courts need to be resurfaced.
Shouldn't have taken out the other TV in the restaurant.
I enjoy the variety of classes and equipment. The facility is kept very clean so it's easy to enjoy all the amenities! I ve made quite a few good friendships through the athletic club; that's some kid of wonderful!
I like the friendly staff and the wide variety of group classes offered. I continue to be thrilled that you support the tai chi program.I also think you do a good job with offering a clean, safe facility. Judy Hunt
I like everything about LRAC. The people who work here are beyond great. They are extremely friendly and helpful. I especially want to mention my trainer, Eric Godwin. e is more than a trainer. He is a buddy. He is a genius. He has helped me enormously. I'm a guy with a lot of physical problems. Eric helps me do what I can and go beyond where i am. This is precious. Victora, my pilates trainer is also hugely helpful. She and Eric talk about what I need and they form a team. That is tremendously valuable to me. Martha, the physical therapist, has also helped me a lot. I attend her Yin Yoga session every Tuesday afternoon. That helps me keep this stiff old body reasonably fluid.
The other members are also very great people. I am part of the morning coffee group that meets and talks each day. They are all good friends, all my age or close. They help make LRAC home for me.
I also must mention the Blue Court Grill. Great service; terrific food. I have had many business lunches there with groups that I am working with in the community.
The Club itself has all of the machines and equipment I need to do what I need to do. I do more physical therapy type things than fitness type things. I am recovering from conditions and injuries I got years ago, and the Club has the people and things I need to facilitate that. BTW, two of my doctors are members here. They know what I do and know what there is available to do. I retired 2 years ago, and LRAC is now where I am more than any other place except home. What more could I ask for? Stay as good as you are.
