We loved the facility itself, especially the adult-only lap pool and the clay tennis courts. Our tour guide, Abby, was so friendly and knowledgable, as were other staff members we met during our tour. The vibe of the club is also exactly what we were looking for so we are truly excited about our new membership.
All new safety feature that are aesthetically pleasing: safety takes into main pool; plastic Gracie’s over dangerous gutters; new safety ladders on yellow slide; I could go on😍
All life guards; better trash pick up routine … bad parents!
I love the atmosphere. It's a wonderful family environment and the staff is so polite. It's always clean and provides so many things to enjoy. Great workout areas along with the pool & snack bar. My family loves hanging out there.
It’s expensive. The joining fee is what keeps me from committing monthly. I can more so afford it by paying the guest fee at this point. I wish there was a weekly guest pass available.
More parking so we aren’t literally parking in the neighborhood. More gym equipment, this is equivalent to a hotel gym, with 25 sqft for stretching and only one bench, one squat rack. No carpeted floors, they’re pretty gross and putting down weights makes whole floor shake. Better AC, it’s abysmal in summer. Fix the roof, I got rained on last month while I was walking on a treadmill.
I feel very very stuck due to lack of options and it’s a real bummer given how much membership is. Is this just a pool and tennis club for families with children? That appears to be all that’s invested in, which is fine but that means I need to find another gym.
Excellent staff. Clean, well kept courts and pool and exercise equipment. I love the morning water aerobics class - great teachers and camaderie of participants.
I have been a member for at least 45 years and have enjoyed the tennis, workouts and my kids swimming over the years. Now I mainly do the Aquafit workouts and am very thankful for them. I still live only a couple of blocks away. Have seen many changes to the club plus personnel changes over the years. I think the Club and The Athletic Cubs are all in a “good place” now.
