I love how playful and creative the classroom work is. Mister Rodgers said “Play is often talked about as if it were a relief from serious learning. But for children play is serious learning. Play is really the work of childhood.” I’m so thankful that we found a place that encourages learning through play.
It is also obvious that our son’s teachers and the staff care for him immensely, which is so encouraging for us as parents. We want him to be in a place that cares for him and appreciates him for who he is, not just what he could become.
Little Sunshine’s in LSL continues to be an exceptional program and place for our little one to grow, learn and play. Jenn and Taylor are our current teachers and they are top notch! We know our son is being cared for by patient and loving people. Thank you for ALL you do!!!
All of the teachers are so sweet and kind! My baby is always so excited to see everyone and genuinely enjoys coming. It made the transition back to work after maternity leave so much easier knowing she was in such wonderful hands ! I cannot say enough wonderful things about.
I love how much thought goes into every lesson planning for the kids. The leadership is very welcoming and the teachers seem genuinely happy there. I feel like we do get our money’s worth. The food smells and looks great. Both my kids are thriving and advanced for their age!
Since day one everyone has been very welcoming. They communicate very well and keep us new parents very informed. Each and every staff is always smiling and you can tell the enjoy their jobs. Every teacher my daughter has been with is loved by her teachers just as much when she is home. LSP has become our second home and we couldn’t be more thankful!
There are truly no words to describe how much I love this school and this new chapter for my daughter. In just one week, my heart has been overflowing each day I drop her off. I’ve already seen her thrive—not only academically but emotionally as well. I’m beyond grateful to have found this place. Her teacher and the entire staff are amazing, and the way they love on her leaves me speechless.
It gives me such a piece peace of mind knowing that while my husband & I are at work, our daughter is not only well cared for but also learning and growing in such a nurturing environment. I truly couldn’t imagine a better place for her. I would recommend this school to absolutely anyone looking for a safe, loving, and enriching daycare for their child
We have absolutely loved sending our child to LSP. We can’t say enough about Ms. Janice, Ms. Amy and Ms. Sarahlinda, they are all top notch and our child talks about them all each and everyday! They take such great care of all the children, the building is always super nice & clean and the curriculum prepares each child for the next step. They keep things fun and exciting and our child is always excited to go to school each day! I would give them 1000 out of 10 if I could!!!
I just wanted to take a moment to share how much I truly love this daycare. As a first-time mom, it's been such a gift to have this kind of peace of mind every day. I feel confident knowing my daughter is safe, cared for, and genuinely thriving. She’s been hitting milestones left and right, and I really credit the amazing staff and learning environment you all have created.
I don’t have any major feedback—just a couple of small things I’ve noticed that might help make things feel a little smoother on the parent side.
At drop-off and pick-up, I sometimes feel unsure of where I’m supposed to go. I’ve noticed she’s occasionally in different classrooms, which is totally understandable, but I often find myself checking multiple rooms to track her down. If there’s a way to get a quick heads-up when she’s in a different room, that could save us from interrupting multiple classes.
Drop-off can also feel a little unclear. Sometimes she’s in her regular room, sometimes she’s eating next door with another class. I’m not sure if I should be arriving earlier for breakfast or if her current drop-off time is fine as-is. Just looking for a little clarity so I can align with whatever works best for the teachers and the flow of the day.
Mostly, I just feel a bit unsure if I’m doing things “right” during drop-off and pick-up. I never want to overstep (by going into the classroom and setting her down, putting her in a crib, etc) but I’m also happy to help if that’s welcome. A little more guidance for us parents on what’s expected or encouraged would go a long way.
Thanks again for all that you do. We’re so lucky to be part of this community.
I really love the app. I like that I know when Cayden is eating and how frequently he is being changed. I also really enjoy the pictures that are sent on occasion!
Our kids are loved and taught something new everyday. Our teachers feel like family, even if they aren’t in the specific class with our child, they know their names and are always happy to talk with them.
I love the Reggio way of play-based learning and how everyday the arts and crafts they work on have to do with motor skills geared towards their age and working towards those goals.
