The leg press machine, Boulder Y doesn't have a sit up one. Like the warm Boulder pool. Lafayette is beautiful, but Boulder is closer to home.

The Y has a variety of classes, and many options at the facility. Basketball courts, ice skating rink, swimming pool, daycare, workout gyms. We’re lucky to have this facility in our area.

Excellent facilities, friendly & skilled staff. Coffee in the morning is great and sets the YMCA apart from its competitors. However, it would be great if the cleaning fluid in the Fitness Center was not watered down so much. That seemed to start happening a few months ago and many members noticed it. That's going to factor into people's decisions in a negative way. Also, the same main weight & aerobic space needs to get back the newspaper & magazine racks. Members like to read while working out and it's a great community builder the way so many people share their publications -- especially given the outrageous cost of subscriptions these days. Sharing newspapers with $400 annual subscriptions is a gift to many people who won't pay or just can't afford the Daily Camera, Denver Post, New York Times, Wall Street Journal, et cetera. A wall-mounted rack which can handle 12 to 15 publications would be ideal. The previous rack was taken down and never replaced. Go for it! :)

I have attended several (5-6) Pickleball Clinics at the Lafayette Y. I have enjoyed all of them immensely. They provide excellent instruction and an opportunity to meet other players and form new friendships. The facility is always clean and welcoming with lots of activity going on in all areas.

Kate Furze’s Spinning and Chair classes. She is also an excellent personal trainer. What a special teacher she is — warm and motivating. The overall atmosphere of the Lafayette Y is friendly and welcoming. The physical spaces are well cared for.

The gym is clean and has all the equipment I need. The staff are friendly and welcoming. My only complaint is an under advertised, or promoted pickleball. There are so many players from other ymcas going elsewhere instead of coming to you. While boulder ymca is closed why not put your pickleball hours up at the boulder ymca so people know where they can go with their existing membership. [FIRST NAME REMOVED]
