First of all, I reside in Florida and not Michigan. My mother had to be moved to assisted-living after a bad fall. Since she could no longer reside in her house, it had to be put up for sale. A very good family friend recommended Lynn Baker-Hunter and now that the house is sold I want to make sure to say how pleased I am/was with her and her help. We started communicating at least a month prior to my actual visit to Detroit. Lynn made sure that I understood what was to transpire, what would be expected of me and what to expect of her. Once I arrived in Detroit and obtained a Power Of Attorney for my Mom, the house sale process really started rolling. The house had to be cleared out, repainted and re-carpeted. Lynn recommended a painter and a flooring company and helped coordinate their efforts. She also recommended a person to clear out household chemicals and a person to clean the house once all of the other work was complete. I want to make you all understand that I never really lived in the Detroit area and didn't have a clue who I could trust to do the work necessary to get the house in shape to sell. I could only stay in Detroit for a week and so I had to rely on Lynn for a bit more than you usually expect from a realtor. She went above and beyond to help me. The house went on sale on a Thursday and we had a contract by Saturday. I could not have done all the work necessary to get Mom's house sold without her gracious and expert help. Lynn Baker-Hunter is First-class and I HIGHLY recommend her for your real estate needs!!!!

I like the fact that my agent, Lynn Baker-Hunter, went above and beyond in her efforts to help make the sale of my townhouse happen, and happen quickly during a traditionally slow sales period of the year. She was there when there was need for tidying up the place with painters and carpet cleaners, when plumbing repairs were called for, and when pipes required winterizing. She was there for legal details, finding the mailbox key and other minutia. Most of all, I trusted Lynn to make it all happen. And she did, in spades.

Lynn was very professional, but also very personable. She helped us find the people e.g., painter, gutter cleaner, drywall repair person, chimney cleaner, the photographer etc. She helped us figure out what had to be done in order to list our place, and her knowledge of the market meant that we sold our place very quickly once we actually listed it. She helped us negotiate what needed to be negotiated. She was very generous with her time and encouragement.
