The class was informative. The studio is beautiful. I felt welcome while participating in the workshop and I have applied what I learned to my every day life. The teacher was down to earth and approachable.
I LOVE Stacey's HIIT and Cardio Barre classes. The one suggestion I would have for the class is to make sure that there is not too much repetition with one particular movement at a time. For example, at the barre, there may be a series of leg lifts with one leg doing a single movement to the side, then pulsing, then circles x 2, then repeating that circuit facing a different direction, and then repeating that circuit again on the floor. IMO, when there is too much repetition on a single muscle group without rest (or other movements interspersed), the muscle becomes fatigued to the point where the exercise is no longer effective.
Other than that, I truly love the class. I love the set up of HIIT and cardio and Stacey is a wonderful instructor. Thank you for keeping the afternoon sessions 1 hr long :)
I love M. Power Yoga. The classes are great and I love how, for Barre and M2, every instructor is different and presents a different kind of yoga practice. I love all the people as well...everyone is welcoming and the community is not intimidating which is great for newer students. The only thing I would love is if there was a 7am class offering during the week...even like 1 or 2 days a week:)
