The kids said they found the instructions clear and not too complicated but the experiments were fun. It got them questioning lots of things and wanting to learn more. Every Tuesday they get up really excited that it’s Mad Science day!
George had really enjoyed the Mad science class. He was coming home talking about what he had learned and of course he was super excited about the slime that he made.
They make science fun. through play my son learnt a lot about physics and nature and raised lots of questions. He understands more what is happening around him.
My child seems to enjoy it. He has brought home slime and a paper helicopter which has kept him occupied for a while. It's good value for money and I like how it's located at their school.
My son is 6 and anything STEM tends to pique his interest so I was thrilled when his school offered this programme as an elective after school club.
He is 3 sessions into a 6 week programme and so far, has been incredibly enthusiastic when he tells us what he’s been up to.
It seems clear that the sessions are not just entertaining but that the children really are learning through play. Not only can he tell me about the refractive and magnetic experiments he’s been doing but that they relate to the discipline of physics. He has also been making links to these in his everyday life.
I am incredibly satisfied with the programme and think it’s worth every penny to broaden his horizons with what is (as yet) supra curricular subject matter.
Bravo to all involved.
It was good but my son and friend and in year 6 and have been grouped with reception aged children. The information is a bit below their years which is a shame considering how much money it cost. There's been two groups maybe separating year groups or infants and juniors might be best.
