The science entertainer, Mr. Dee, was absolutely fantastic! He kept a group of excited 5- 7-year-olds engaged from start to finish with fun, interactive experiments and lots of laughs. The activities were age-appropriate, educational, and entertaining, and all the children were talking about their favorite experiments long after the party ended. Professional, organized, and great with kids—we couldn't have asked for a better birthday experience.
The kids (and adults) had a lot of fun. The program felt a little too long overall, but at the same time a bit rushed at the end trying to fit everything in. I also didn’t feel great about the balloons and rockets (even though I know we requested them!) ending up in neighbors’ yards as litter. Again, I understand the circumstances, but having a woman scientist presenter would have been a great opportunity for STEM representation as well. Overall, a great experience!
Parker (Professor Quirk) was fantastic! Super engaged with the kids, well prepared, on time (early actually!), and both an excellent teacher and entertainer. My daughter was thrilled and had the best time, as did all of her friends. Highly recommend!
Scientist Sarah was fantastic! The kids absolutely loved her. I was really impressed with how she balanced teaching science concepts while keeping the kids engaged and entertained. It made for such a fun and memorable experience. We would definitely book again!
The scientist was very engaging with the 5-11 year old audience (proximately 6/7 year olds). The experiments were conducted in a safe and entertaining manner. The only thing I would have liked to not happen is the use of “magic” verses science. Most of the crowd in attendance don’t support magic which resulted in a few adult to adult conversations. I intentionally did NOT schedule the wizardry package for this reason. So, that did disappoint still having to navigate it with parents during and following the event.
