It had been over 10 years since I had been in any form of regular fitness activity. After being hesitant to give MADabolic (or any structured form of activity) a shot I finally did. At that point I never thought I would then see 1000 classes in my rear view mirror. The tiered system allows for individuals of all levels to participate and further develop based upon their personal goals and ability. The instructors are always there to correct and tweak form when needed in a manner that is encouraging and supportive. There is also a unique community feeling that develops by seeing a diverse group of people on a regular basis not just on the floor, but also at social events that are held throughout the year.
The instructor Lynette was really looking out for everyone to make sure we knew what we were doing and weren't going to hurt ourselves. The folks who attended the class were welcoming.
Incredible trainers. Super clean, well organized workout spaces. Robust schedule with many class options. By far the best functional fitness programs available. I'm almost 500 workouts in and still look forward to every visit.
The anaerobic class was a challenging and fun class led by Justin! There was a thorough warm-up, well-rounded exercises with a variety of options for weights for different levels of fitness, very helpful feedback from Justin to help with form, and other members that were supportive to newcomers. Highly recommend to those who are looking for a new gym with classes in Raleigh!
Just a guest of my daughter on this visit. I loved tbe class and wish this gym was closer to me!!! The instructor was sooo good and positive!! Loved her.
We were visiting Raleigh for an overnight staycation and wanted to get a good sweat in. Emily was our trainer and she was great! She gave us a tour of the studio and prepped us for a good Deload workout to come. It was a great tough workout and I’ll definitely be going back if I’m in the local Raleigh area again.
MAD is by far the best gym in Raleigh! They are welcoming, inclusive and true professionals. All the coaches care about proper form and getting the best out of you during each and every workout. They are knowledgable, kind and just great humans. Run, don’t walk to be a part of this amazing community!
Everything! I've tried a bunch of boutique gyms and MADabolic is the best program around. The environment is welcoming, the workouts are exactly what I am looking for, and the trainers are well-versed and knowledgable.
Best training program and community in Raleigh by far! There is variety in each workout yet consistency in methodologies we train against. I love the instructor lineup we have right now and the time selections we can choose from, makes it easy to get in and get active!
I absolutely love MAD! The strength-focused interval training sessions are challenging but incredibly rewarding, and the supportive environment keeps me coming back. The trainers are knowledgeable, motivating, and genuinely care about helping us improve our strength and form. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to build strength in a fun, group setting.
