This was my first time using B Cycle and I only did it because of the free month offer. Thanks for that!
I liked how easy it was to checkout and return a bike. I've used Citi Bike in NYC and that seems much more complicated.
I appreciate the convenience of the bike stations, although I'd love to see one in Middleton. I've been on the fence about buying an e-bike, so this gives me an opportunity to see how much I'd ride one, and not have the full expense and maintenance.
One frustrating thing, my friend and I were going to take out bikes from Agora in Fitchburg. It indicated 4 bikes. After checking battery life, one had 3 bars, two had 2 bars and the one with 5 bars would not turn on. We took out a 3 bar and 2 bar... and ran out of juice before we made it back. Made me appreciate the boost I get when it works! Even more so, because it stopped just before ascending a giant hill.
I like that it is convenient to grab a bike and leave it at another station without having to worry about leaving it somewhere. It is nice to be able to combine this with the bus or walking to get around easily in my city.
Affordable and convenient way to commute and run errands by bike! I love being able to go downtown and to my office without worrying about parking, and with the price of gas going up, it’s good for my budget to be able to leave my car in the driveway.
