I like my small Maplewood YMC better than all the other YMCA's in Monroe County. It's small and intimate. Parking is usually very easy and when the parking lot is full I just park at the rose garden park across the street. I use the swimming pool, exercise room and play pickleball. I don't join the classes as they don't meet my current needs. Over time I have made some good friends.

I love Maplewood YMCA. it feels like home. I've been going to the YMCA all my life in different cities wherever I have lived. Maplewood reminds me of one of the first YMCAs I attended as a child. I highly recommend Maplewood YMCA and I have to some of my friends. Great employees, clean facility.

The YMCA is in a beautiful older building. It is updated but still has its charm. It is very clean. It has everything I need. I like the classes for silver and fit and I like the gym equipment. Haven’t used the pool yet. Everyone is so nice from the front desk staff, the class and gym instructors -Tamara, Becky and Sarah and the security guard Fred. All have been so friendly and helpful. Frequently, they call me by name. Fred was helping direct parking in the lot when it was full one day. Only drawback is parking can be hard to find in the lot at times. I’ve had to park across the street. Thank you [NAME REMOVED]
