Mathnasium of Apex worked for us, 1) because of location. 2) the staff is so friendly and cooperative. Sam made it so easy to schedule and reschedule appointments. Over the summer, I requested Sam for my daughter to concentrate on SAT prep and he complied. She gained confidence with the subject and testing, and did very well. I would definitely recommend Mathnasium of Apex to friends.

We highly recommend Mathnisium at Apex. Director Sam and the whole team always have the attitude of “ how can we help you”. They tailored the tutorial material that fit kids personal growth, and taking parents’ feedback positively. I was not quite sure if we wanted to enroll our kid since both my husband and I am good at math. Then I realized that my kid was interested in the math puzzle that Sam gave him during the first evaluation, and Sam’s encouragement helped my kid get more motivated. I suddenly realized that being good at math doesn’t mean we are good at teaching math. Now eight months later, my son is very happy and asked for more Mathnisium times.

My daughter loves going to mathnasium and feels like it is really helping her improve her understanding. The instructors make it fun for her to learn and she feels more confident.. She is able to set up her own appointments and coordinate the sessions. It is pretty impressive that she is consistently setting up the sessions and we don't remind her at all.

Mathnasium was a great supplement to my son's math class, that moved too fast in the half year format for him to keep up. The only thing I would like to have seen is that if a child finds a tutor who they click with, that there is an opportunity to schedule an appointment with that specific person again. Not all of the tutors were as clear or as helpful as others, so he got more out of some sessions than others.

The experience at Mathnasium has been excellent and very positive. My daughter started attending Mathnasium in New Jersey, and we didn't hesitate to enroll here in Apex after relocating last year. My daughter feels more confident in school with Math and has had a great 7th grade school year. We look forward to continuing attending Mathnasium next year.

I wish I signed up my son earlier. They use paper and not computer which is better. Also they focus on each subject until the kid gets it and then they move on to another topic. Unlike school environment where the teacher has to go through the curriculum in time boxed manner and cannot wait whether students mastered the topic or not.
