Mathnasium has been a conducive space for my son. He has learned solid math strategies and, just as importantly, has started feeling more confident in himself. It has also helped him better organize his time and think about how he learns, which has made a big difference. What I appreciate most is that he enjoys going. He looks forward to his sessions, which say a lot. I highly recommend them!

My daughter struggles with Math, but she’s finally learning at Mathnasium - Birnam Woods. Ms. Shena is a great teacher and I truly can tell that she cares about the students learning. We’re very blessed that we found this place! It’s also affordable unlike other outrageous expensive tutoring places is the area.

My son was struggling with math. Basic math facts were so complicated and frustrating to him. We would spend hours working on a few problems for homework. He hated school and didn’t want to go. We had tried personal tutors and other places like Kumon, but we were not having any success. Then, we found Mathnasium. I was skeptical at first. Sheena at Mathnasium said, “Just give me six months. We aren’t a tutor. We teach them to understand math. He will love math in time.” Sheena was right. His whole outlook changed. He began to proactively do his homework without assistance. Our homework time now takes minutes instead of hours. His grades are A’s and he is making A’s on his STAAR prep. He has a new found confidence. He loves going to school now. Thank you, Mathnasium team!

We are very pleased with Mathnasium Discovery Creek. Our granddaughter has had great difficulty with mastering math especially so since Covid-19’s onset. Mrs. Sheena has made great strides and helped with her fears and provided motivation and she now has gained more confidence. We thank you so much.

Daughter has done a 180 in her math class. Going from almost a D average to an A. I just wish they were open on Fridays or a weekend day too. Weekdays are hectic and finding it hard to get her there
