Although my son needs a lot of redirecting due to his short attention span, the tutors continue to find ways to keep him engaged and provide continued support.

Mathnasium is the best thing that ever happend to my family. It is very well-conceived idea about helping our students to succeed in Math. Mathnasium in Boynton Beach has given my child the tools to advance in his class to impeccable grades. He often felt very confused or lost, and just an hour and a half with one of the tutors at Mathnasium almost always left him feeling extremely confident in his abilities. They have helped him achieve higher scores on the ACT and SAT, apart from his usual classwork. Thank you Mathnasium! Keep up the amazing work.

My son first math test this year was 37%. I committed to helping him study and do his Math homework. Every day we would research the topic and answers on the computer and the homework would mostly be right, but any math assignment he did at school, he failed. He just was not getting the concepts. This was taking a lot of time energy from me. My son was also frustrated and resented me for this, because he had little time to do anything else. His other subjects were also suffering. His math teacher called me and met me at parent- up a few time. I would have butterflies in my stomach driving up to the school. I felt like she thought I was not doing enough. I remembered seeing Mathnasiusm when I was shopping for school clothes at Old Navy. I told my son that we will commit to at least 4 hours a week. I explained that if you do anything for 4 hours a week you will be better at it. They gave him an assessment that showed that he was more than a year behind. I didn’t believe his situation was that bad that they probably exaggerated so when he took the post- test he would show a great improvement. I was wrong. Around January his grades went up, he was averaging C in math. The hour at Mathnasium was spent working in a white binder and he also got all his homework done. Sometimes he even had time to play games. It is May and presently his average in Math is 98%. The last 2 assessments he took were 100%. He has time to spend on his other subjects and all his other grades have gone up as well. Many have gone up one letter grade. He has a lot of confidence and our relationship is less stressed. Recently his math teacher sent me an email to tell me how proud she was of him.

Our boys have been attending Mathnasium for three years. The program has helped my older son maintain his math skills as the class moves from one skill to another. My younger son has been able to do more advanced work than is typical for his age and will now be able to advance to higher level classes as he enter middle school. We love Mathnasium and the confidence it has given our kids!! Tina Day

Son likes coming to Mathnasium and his instructors there. Does well with the motivation techniques, esp. the double punches when he wears his Mathnasium shirt. Wears it every Saturday-ALL DAY!

Granddaughter attends and loves it and the whole crew. Grandma would love it even more if the waiting room were made more comfortable for visitors who choose to wait:) like more comfortable chairs would be welcomed. PS Grandma is available to decorate or make suggestions.
