Overall I'm pleased to see the improvements in my child's mathematical ability. His approach towards solving the problem, understanding the questions is unique. I'd like the way Mathnasium tailored the syllabus and teaching pace unique for every child, based on their abilities and timings. I'd really appreciate if Mathnasium encourages students to participate in Math related competitions within state and across US, that'll motivate them to take Math seriously as their career.
It's been an year since my son joined Mathnasium, we could see his attitude and confidence in approaching a math problem got changed and thanks to Mathnasium tutors !
I like how Mathnasium introduce the approach to Math to the Kids, but I'd love if Mathnasium challenges them by giving enough homeworks to keep them engaged over the weekends.
There was some variability with instructors, but generally my daughter had a great experience and found it to be a supportive environment to build and refine her 8th grade math skills.
Love this model where my son can get individual attention in a group setting. We’ve done other math programs where the teacher teaches to the group, and they do not have the time to understand what your child needs.
Appreciate the individualized attention and small group that my son has. Growing up, I had a tutor who did a similar thing in his living room, but there were probably 20 kids there and we all sat apart and he walked around while we did SAT or SSAT practice problems. Sitting at a table with the teacher right in front of our son is invaluable.
Also, we like that it's just 1 hour. Other math programs are 1.5-2 hours which is too long, and there is very little or no individual attention given.
