My daughter really enjoys going to Mathnasium, she not only learns and improve her math skills but also has a lot of fun while doing it.
The staff is super friendly and always trying their best.
My daughter is gaining so much confidence in math since she has attended Mathnasium. In the 3rd grade, she was below the State average on her STAAR test. Now in the 5th grade, we just found out she scored higher than the national average on her MAP assessment in math!
Three years my child was a few years behind in math now this is her second year with straight A’s! They found different ways to teach her so she would understand and the awards were a great motivation.
We have been pleased with our daughter’s steady progress. The Circle C team has listened to our feedback and worked with our expressed concerns. Thank you!
My daughter started attending Mathnasium last month, and she is fascinated, she loves going there and even asked me to stay there longer. So, I got her the 2 - 60 minutes sessions per week, but she wants to me to increase the time to 90 minutes.
I am pretty satisfied with the overall experience and would recommend it to friends and families. Some of my kids friends joined per my recommendation already over the years. That said, the recent mindbody app has so much too desire. I had already given my feedback to the center 5-6 weeks ago and hoping things get fixed. The issues that I found include: 1. It does not show all available slots. I have two kids and want to book the same slot for both of them. After booking a session for one of my kids, it showed that there was no available slot for my other kid. When I checked it in person at the center, there were many slots. 2. It shows upcoming sessions only up to 8 or something. I usually book all 10 sessions in the beginning of each month. When I need to reschedule it, i cannot do it if it is 9th/10th session through the app.
The manager, Maddie, is very knowledgeable about running the center and about Math.
She is very friendly and helpful. Maddy makes you and your child feel welcome.
The Math is being taught in such a way that the kids are trained to think through a problem which will help them in Math and other subjects. We have been very pleased with Mathnasium in every way.
My daughter Aarohi loves the center, she looks forward to her sessions every week. It has boosted her confidence a great deal and it shows in her ability to tackle math problems.
Hi
Mathnasium is one of the best choice we made for our son who was struggling in accommodating with the US curriculum, as we recently here moved from India. The individual attention focusing on the very specific concerned area is the best thing they offered us. Special thanks to Madison, who patiently handled all my queries and concerns.
We love Mathnasium and have had a fantastic experience with this specific Mathnasium location. Our daughter has made tremendous improvements in her math skills as measured by her scores at school.
One suggestion I'd like to see implemented is around food allergies. Often mathnasium will offer fun stuff like donuts or mathnasium branded suckers on special occasions. Our daughter has Celiac (severe gluten allergy) and she has to watch very carefully what she eats. For example, just because something claims to be gluten free, a Celiac patient has to watch for cross contamination. Even an infinitesimal amount of gluten (like a tiny spec of it) can cause a severe reaction. So candy we eat is gluten free but if it is made in factory which processes wheat, there is a good chance its contaminated with gluten.
We would LOVE to have an option to 'buy into' gluten free options on these types of days. I realize you may not have many celiac students attending mathnasium on any given day but if for instance we could pay extra per month to ensure there are certified gluten free options for these days, we would be very happy to pay. Even if it meant paying for all students that day.
With the onset of COVID and it’s affect on the school system. My daughter’s math skills have improved and she is where she should be with math. I believe this would not have occurred without the intervention of Mathnasium.
