Pauline’s Mathnasium location in Cottage Grove is great! It’s a positive work environment for doing math. The tutors are patient, knowledgeable and well trained. The environment is much calmer than a school classroom but also not so quiet that a student would have difficulty working through a slight bit of distractions. The math program is a steady progression and truly builds my kids math skills. It isn’t just a hurry up and jump through the hoops situation. My kids have become more confident and resilient because they are being enriched with problem solving skills they can recognize implement and remember. It’s great as a parent because they look forward to going to Mathnasium. It feels rewarding to schedule them and round them up to go to an appointment because they have such a positive time.

I like the flexibility of scheduling the tutoring services that is most convenient to one's own schedule. There are many options for times and days that work around our busy family schedule. The tutors are knowledgeable with their subject of teaching. They know how to explain the content that is easy to understand.

This program has been a life saver for our family. We have our daughter enrolled in MN connection Academy and she was not doing well in math. I was worried we would have to send her to regular public school for extra help and that was not something we wanted to do. We learned about how great Mathnasium was going for my cousins daughter so I asked for information. We immediately looked into it for our daughter. It was easy to get an appointment for an evaluation and got her started right away. My daughter has terrible anxiety and selective mutism so she was hesitant the first day. She loved it from day one and looks forward to going. I spoke with her online teacher and her math scores have improved and they are pleased with where she is at right now!! I highly recommend anyone to look into mathnasium if their child is in need of extra help!!

I saw a very big improvement with all my kids within the first month.Mathnasium build my kids confidence and the time is flexible you can make your own schedule plus Pauline is very kind and understanding everyone needs I really appreciate her and all the instructors.I highly recommend it. The owner hears our concerns and have made the changes necessary and met our son where he is at. He no longer gets upset when he goes to math and even asks to go there now on the cub days. His confidence in math has improved and he no longer says he hates math as frequently as he used to.
