We love the tutors! Our son had a really difficult school year and fell behind in math. The tutors have helped him regain confidence, and he actually looks forward to attending classes. However, I believe the director, Sam, lacks tact. He has indicated on two separate occasions that our son is behind in math....in a way that made it seem like some type of moral failure . Yes, we know. That’s why we enrolled him in tutoring. Unless this place is meant for only math geniuses, isn't that what tutoring is for? I’m glad he doesn’t directly instruct children because I feel like he would be a detriment to those who need care and encouragement.

Samantha, first and foremost, thank you for the 9/10 review and thank you for allowing us to partner with you on your son's math education. Although it's rare that we get the type of feedback on our Center Director as you have shared here, we don't take your feedback lightly. We know he is passionate about every child's success and we'll be sure to visit with him about his delivery when discussing students and their current abilities. Thank you for sharing this with us.

I am so glad our friends’ referred us to Mathnasium after they shared how well their daughter was learning (at Moore location). I looked into the program immediately and found one in Edmond. Sam helped us get set up. He is a good guy and seems to care and wants kids to be successful in math to their abilities. I recently ran into my daughter’s 8th grade math teacher who remarked about the tutoring success. She said, “whatever you’re doing with the tutoring it worked so much!”. She shared what the school was going to offer her as an extra math session in place of an elective class wouldn’t have yielded the results we got. I told her about your program so hopefully more kids can feel confident about doing math after learning here. Best regards, Brandi H B

Mathnasium has been an incredible part of my daughter's academic journey. She is doing work that is well beyond her years. She is really thriving and they are so patient with her. I love the intentionality of the instruction. Her learning plan fits her needs very well. She finds her school work to be too easy for her, but at Mathnasium, I have a 6 year old working on multiplication and fractions. She adores the staff and instructors there, and finds the prizes to be extremely motivating.

This is a very good math tutoring center. My daughter has been attending since January 2026 and has done very well. The tutors help her a lot. Sam is so sweet and encouraging and has an upbeat attitude to serve the kids. I’m so thankful to be part of this tutoring center. Brandi Hicks Baker

My son has used Mathnasium for his junior and senior year of highschool, it would have been impossible with his sports schedule to keep up with his math classes without Mathnasium.

Mathnasium has made a huge impact. My daughter attends for enrichment and she is well ahead of her peers at school. We would not be as successful at reaching our math goals without the leadership and staff at Mathnasium!

This is a good learning and teaching environment for math. Sam is very friendly and professional and the tutors do a good job. My daughter likes the reward system for effort and working hard to learn.

My granddaughter loves going to Mathnasium. Sam is amazing at finding an alternate teaching method on days she struggles to grasp the concept. He notices her getting upset and talks to her explaining it is ok and we will try something different. He is the BEST!

Of course he can't be amazing without amazing students who work hard and focus on improving. Your granddaughter is certainly one of those students and we're very fortunate to have her in Center. Mathnasium has been such a great experience for our family! The staff is patient, encouraging, and really knows how to explain concepts in a way that makes sense. My child has gained so much confidence in math and actually looks forward to going — which says a lot! Highly recommend Mathnasium to any parent who wants their child to feel more confident and capable in math!

I was concerned my granddaughter wasn't at the level she needed to be for 1st grade based on my view of her school. Her first assessment, she was at 47%. Based on this score, my fears were confirmed. Three weeks later after going 3 times a week for 1 hour per session, she was at 92%! She LOVES going to Mathnasium. She tells everyone they make math fun! I highly recommend if your child struggles or is behind in math.

My three children have been attending Mathnasium for years. I’ve seen their math confidence and grades sky rocket. The instructors make the material fun, and my kids love the games and prizes they earn along the way. I recommend Mathnasium to all my friends.

Mathnasium in Edmond has helped our son a ton when it comes to remedial math. He enjoys coming and would go every day if he could. They make math fun!
