Our second born child started attending Mathnasium last month. We are happy that he does not complain about going and to hear he is working hard. Mathnasium's use of positive reinforcement with rewards is paying off.
My daughter has been going to the El Dorado Hills Mathnasium for the last year and we couldn't be happier with her progress. She doesn't feel pressure but is self-motivated to complete her worksheets and is comfortable asking for help when she needs it. Staff is wonderful!
Robert is such a wonderful, competent director. He, and the staff, have been very attentive and helpful for my daughter as she has been working through her challenging AP Calculus class at St. Francis. We have also referred friends that are very pleased with Mathnasium.
Sending my child to mathnasium has turned out to be a tremendous blessing to our child and our family.
I'm sending my middle child I starting in July. The progress that my oldest child has made, is night and day. My oldest child went from getting D's and struggling in math to overcoming and receiving A's on consistent basis in his math courses. My oldest child received the proper tools at mathnasium to handle his most challenging math courses. I100 percent recommend mathnasium. Thank you. The [LAST NAME REMOVED] family
I think my daughter is motivated to go to mathnasium due to incentives. It also gave her the confidence in math thus shows improvement in her grades. She can bring her homework and can prepare for her test by giving her more practice.
Were only a couple months in to mathnasium. Thus far I would like to see more of checking for understanding with the child. We have realized that on a few pages he is explained how to get the answer but rather then understand how he checks the pattern on the other problems to get the correct answer. There for the problems are correct, yet he doesn't understand how.
Everything else is good so far.
Mathnasium seems to be helping my daughter get her math homework done correctly and she is progressing well in her Algebra I class. We are struggling to fit the 13 sessions in each month with time constraints of homework, sports, etc. She doesn't really look forward to going except that she knows she'll get her math homework done. The notebook work is tedious but hopefully enable her to retain the math skills. Thank you!
