Our son loves Mathnasium and never wants to miss. They challenge the kids in fun and stimulating ways to keep them interested and wanting to learn more. It’s amazing how much they get out of it! Highly recommended.

My daughter started Mathnasium in 4th grade. Before that, she went to Kumon. At Kumon, she advanced quickly and soon started working on materials two grade levels above her own, but she always felt forced or pressured there. So, we took her to Mathnasium. She preferred Mathnasium because the instructors explained concepts more clearly. Since then, she’s stuck with it, and now she’s in 10th grade. My daughter is talented in the arts and writing, and math has never been her strength or interest. But every time I tell her, "You have a Mathnasium session today," she lights up. No dragging her to tutoring, no complaints. I think, to her, Mathnasium is a relief because the tutors actually help her do well in school. Plus, to her, the tutors feel like friendly big brothers and sisters. That alone speaks volumes. She recently struggled with a very difficult assignment in her GT Algebra II homework. Even ChatGPT, an online tutoring service, and a math app couldn’t help, and she was in tears. But the next day, she went to Mathnasium, got an explanation from her tutor, and came home beaming. She told me, "They helped me understand it—it finally makes sense!" Moments like these make every penny worth it. I truly believe Mathnasium tutors are great at explaining things in a way my daughter can understand. The tuition is a bit of a stretch for our budget, but we see it as one of the best investments we can make in her education. She’s planning a gap year before college, and we’re even considering asking if Mathnasium can continue supporting her during that time. If you’re on the fence about Mathnasium, take it from us—it’s absolutely worth it!

We've had such a wonderful experience with Mathnasium of Ellicott City. My daughter has been attending for almost a year and we could not be happier with her progress and the love she has for mathematics. She is always excited to go to her Mathnasium sessions. The director and teaching staff are excellent, very approachable and highly responsive. I'd like to highlight the warm and caring atmosphere at the center that draws you in. I appreciate regular assessments that allow me to track my daughter's progress. And Ms. Claire is always there to answer any questions regarding students' progress. Parents are also welcome to review their child's work after each session. I have to admit that the reward system is really effective. As a busy parent, I really appreciate the flexibility and no fuss scheduling. Without a doubt, this is one of the best decisions I've made and cannot be more grateful to the Mathnasium team. Special thanks to Ms. Claire, Mr. Gabe, Ms. Rosanne, and Ms. Ayesha!

Lately my daughter has improved her maths skills, and have scoring A+ in her test and exams.

Everything looks good , except I feel kids are having more sugar/Candys for their achievement's in Mathnasium which is not good for their health.

Both my daughters love going to mathnasium. We’ve seen improvements in grades and confidence and their rewards program is a great incentive for the children. Staff is very friendly and helpful as well!

If your child is having difficulty with Math, this is the place to be! I have seen progress and continue to see improvement with my child, he is even starting to enjoy Math because it’s becoming more familiar. Happy to have found Mathnasium! The staff are great, you receive weekly updates on your child progress, it’s an investment that is worth it!

My daughter has had an excellent experience at Mathnasium. She has learned a lot of math and she is always happy to go. The teaching is very well done and the center is full of respectful staff. Christina, one of the admin staff is so patient with parents when we call to reschedule. She has helped me to balance my work schedule and commute with my daughter’s tutoring sessions. I would give the center a 10 but I am waiting to see my daughter’s MCAP and MAP scores to see if these have improved! Thats the true measure for me. My daughter had straight As all year, including in math.
