I am a secondary math teacher that has taught 7th, 8th, and Algebra 1. As much experience as I have teaching it is difficult to teach my own children because I am not their teacher. I also do not know elementary standards. I have tried to teach them on my own and get frustrated because they didn’t know certain basics. When I first started taking my kids to Mathnasium I was weary but I told myself I would give it 6 month to a year. I have to say I am beyond impressed!!! My son will tell you he doesn’t see a difference but as an educator I see a HUGE difference and now it is easier to “tutor” him myself. Because of our schedule we can only go once a week but it is worth it! This program fills in the gaps that I had no way to find. As any math teacher will tell you the basics are what makes math “easy” and this program is doing just that. Tutors help with current material and if a teacher doesn’t assign homework that doesn’t help. Mathnasium finds the gaps and fills them. If you can travel for sports practice you can travel to Mathnasium.

We’ve seen a lot of improvement in our daughter’s confidence in math and academic progress since starting Mathnasium. Kellie is wonderfully accessible and makes the learning fun for the kids. I would definitely recommend Mathnasium in Goshen.

My daughter loves Mathnasium! She looks forward to going to each session—completing as many math pages as possible, being recognized for making strides, and earning cool rewards. Since she began this program, I have seen her become more confident in her math abilities. The tutors are knowledgeable, patient, and fun. The owner is easily accessible and invested in all students’ learning while ensuring they have fun.

My son has been having a wonderful experience at Mathnasium in Goshen, NY. All employees from the director to all of the tutors have been kind and compassionate helping him better learn math concepts and helping him get caught up. They also make learning fun with incentives to keep going and not give up. Thank you!

Both of my children are progressing because of the extra math help they get at Mathnasium. Kellie and her staff in Goshen are great to work with. They take an interest in what our children are currently doing at school and apply immediate help in those areas. Kellie is flexible when it comes to scheduling changes (especially at the last minute) and is quick to respond. Thank you Kellie and team.

Kellie and the rest of the staff at Mathnasium are incredible! Not only is my daughter gaining the skills she needs to be successful in math- in just a few sessions she has become a confident, enthusiastic learner. My son has always loved math, but he loves it even more after going to Mathnasium! It has helped supplement his knowledge and keep him challenged beyond what school can do. All of the tutors are engaging and helpful. And the “Mastery checks” help me know how he’s doing too.
