My son was hesitant to go to Mathnasium but once he was there, the staff was welcoming and made his experience fun. He couldn't wait to go back. He looks forward to his tutor sessions. He made progress in school and has gained more confidence with his math abilities.

We have been with Mathnasium for a while now and we absolutely love it as so does or son! The staff there is very knowledgeable and can connect with children to make them understand how math can be fun when understood! I would recommend Mathnasium to anyone whose child is struggling to understand math, it helped our child tremendously and we are very thankful for it!

Great experience for my 15 yo daughter! In four months she achieved catching up to grade level after being 3 grades behind! She's a very anxious kid with self esteem issues and mathnasium has become a haven and support for her. Her confidence has soared along with grades. Folks at the Guilford location really, really understand kids and development and the socioemotional learning dynamics. Love Matthew and Drew!

We were a little hesitant enrolling a second semester junior (now senior) but my daughter's math confidence has grown greatly over the past 6 months while attending Mathnasium. She enjoys the upbeat, positive, and inclusive environment and looks forward to her sessions.

The instructors at Mathnasium are excellent. Both of my kids love going there, learn and understand advanced math concepts, and are excelling at school. Matt does a great job keeping the kids focused and motivated while keeping it fun.

All of the tutors are very knowledgeable and very friendly and make my children feel at ease when learning math, that can be very anxiety ridden. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone of all ages.

Love Guilford Mathnasium! Matthew and Drew are great. Matthew made onboarding a pleasure- he was thorough, informative and really took the time to get to know what my 15 yo needed. I was so impressed with their understanding of the socioemotional impact of math performance on kids. My daugther is very quiet and can present as disengaged when really her anxiety is high and confidence is low. They are patient with her and keep her engaged and encouraged. Her comfortability with math is increasing as is her confidence. She is reaching the measurable goals we all set together and seeing her feel less anxious is amazing!

Our granddaughter has thoroughly enjoyed her time at Mathnasium over the past year. All of the staff have always been helpful, patient, professional & most importantly a great help in guiding her with many areas of math. I have and will always recommend Mathnasium to anyone who would like to strengthen & broaden their knowledge in math.

My daughter loves Mathnasium. It’s her favorite extracurricular activity. She loves earning points and saving up for special rewards. The director Matthew is always engaging and personable. My only suggestion would be — for some reason there is a strong scent in the building (Guilford). I’m guessing from the disinfectant spray or maybe the carpets were recently changed? Would be nice to go unscented and/or use an air purifier, etc.
