Mathnasium’s director Kris is an awesome instructor and makes what tends to be a very tedious learning process for my son and I enjoyable. My son is 9 in 4th grade and has been under Kris’s instruction for around 6 months and his confidence in math has increased dramatically. I have recommended him to all my friends who find themselves struggling with motivating their children to engage in math and will continue to do so.

I can't say enough good things about our experience with Mathnasium! My kids have not only improved their math skills but also developed a real confidence in their abilities, which has been amazing to see. The curriculum is personalized, ensuring each child gets the support they need to grow at their own pace.
The staff at Mathnasium are absolutely incredible. They're patient, knowledgeable, and truly passionate about teaching. They make learning fun and engaging, and they always take the time to explain concepts in a way that my kids understand. My kids look forward to every session!
Mathnasium has been a game-changer for us, and I highly recommend it to any parent looking to give their child an extra boost in math. Thank you to the wonderful team for all the hard work and dedication!

Mathnasium has allowed our kids to thrive and lead in the classroom. They have gained solid foundational math knowledge that has grown with them through the fast paced elementary school AAP programs. Without the extra time in the Mathnasium classroom, I’m confident they would have been average or below average math students despite having fantastic fcps teachers. Mathnasium separates the kids from the herd and goes deeper to ensure they grasp the concept fully before moving on.
Kris has been an exceptional leader and teacher for them. He builds strong and trusted relationships with his students and allows them to look forward to going for math class.
The school is clean and fun. The kids love the reward system and treats.

My boys (8 & 11) love going to Mathnasium. My oldest is not a math fan, but he enjoys going and has greatly improved his math scores. My youngest is a math enthusiast and enjoys challenging himself to find different ways to solve problems. At first my kids thought it was going to be like work, but they quickly realized that they were having fun and learning at the same time, which is awesome. The rewards program is a huge incentive for them, too. They can earn little prizes and goodies by getting stamps on a card based on the work they complete. They love it! Also, Chris, the owner, is very nice and so easy and relaxed - there's no pressure! I strongly recommend Mathnasium to everyone who has kids.

Kris is a great partner in helping us to craft just the right learning approach for our high schooler. He is very responsive to our questions and genuinely wants to help our child to succeed.
We love the individualized focus as it allows our child to learn at her own pace and focus on the areas she needs. We leverage Mathnasium to help with homework and prep for tests and exams. When there are no “imminent” deadlines of work, we seek help from Kris who crafted a learning curriculum for our child. We are now onto prepping for the SAT.
Highly recommend Mathnasium in Herndon!

Both our boys, 7 & 10, love going to Mathnasium. They enjoy the rewards system and they find the work fun and challenging. It's really helped them with their focus and learning and the enjoy explaining what they'd learned to us after a session.
I do wish they were open on Fridays, though, as our sports schedules are crazy during the week and Fridays are one day we could take them both without having the rush to/from, but otherwise it's been a great experience for us all.

Mathnasium in Herndon is a great place.
We have tried many centers but Kris here is wonderful with my son. My son needs a specific type of setup, and Kris makes that happen. Highly recommend this place for your kids if they need the support in Math. They have a knowledgeable set of instructors and Kris is personally involved in each students success which is great to see. Thanks Kris for all your support and willingness to help my son.

We've been to other education center - but THIS Mathasium under Kris sets the standard. Why? For our children Kris is present and personable and gets to know each of their needs - other centers SAY THIS - Kris DOES IT (Acta Non Verba). He also helps them with the CURRENT Math homework....other centers leave the parents and the kids flounder on their own and they only do their program at the center. The other center's approach is like working in a salt mine! Kris gives us a progress report that actually makes sense and easily shows the child's progress. As other extra curricular activities impact our sessions Kris is flexible and lets us work them in as we can or modify the sessions. Highly recommend this program over others - Highly recommend THIS center - over others.
