We are so happy with our daughter’s experience with Mathnasium of Iowa City. When our daughter was in kindergarten spring of 2020 and Covid happened, she went online to school the rest of her kindergarten year as well as her first grade year. She struggled with math her second grade year. We enrolled her in Mathnasium which was an amazing support! Our daughter quickly overcame the struggles she was having with math. We have kept our daughter in Mathnasium since the 2nd grade. She is now in the 6th grade and scores way above the national overage in all subjects, but math specifically, scores are amazing! The material our daughter is working on in her advanced math class for 6th grade she already knows due to mastering this material at Mathnasium several weeks prior. Our plan is to keep our daughter at Mathnasium in Iowa City until she graduates high school to keep her math skills sharp! Mathnasium also offers math ACT programs too. I also want to say that Mr. Alex who is the owner of Mathnasium Iowa City is awesome! He has gone out of his way to make our daughter’s experience wonderful! Since she is a little older now, so to help her have continued “prize goals” he lets her choose something that she would like to receive as her prize goal that he normally wouldn’t have in store. He makes the Mathnasium environment fun, and educational! We can’t say enough wonderful things about things about Mathnasium of Iowa City and we are so happy we chose to enroll our daughter here!

I highly recommend Mathnasium in Coralville to everyone who wants their children to understand math. My daughter went from having Cs to straight As. She enjoys her lessons, each student works at their own pace. Having different instructors helps a lot. They are all fun to work with. If your child struggles with math try Mathnasium lessons. 10/10.

My daughters love going to Mathnasium. The environment is very supportive of their learning. They make math fun and engaging. The instructors are excellent and can help support advanced math learners, even for my high schooler.

Mathnasium is the best way to teach math, in our family's opinion. Attending Mathnasium help our child catch up on math concepts he did not grasp during school, giving him a solid foundation for future math concepts. We highly recommend Mathnasium for any student who is struggling with math, who just needs a little help to catch up, or who is interested in move ahead.

This is really a great learning session where my child sharpen her skills and achieve much more. I would like to have just one suggestion. If possible, please participate children in some competitive or challenging exams. This way they will have some excitement and confidence on whatever they are doing.

Mathnasium's program is giving our son a solid and real understanding in math. At school, he had gaps in his knowledge of math basics and was falling behind, struggling to learn the new math material because his foundation of math basics was weak. At Mathnasium, the basics were re-taught to him in a logical, simple and repetitive way so it sticks and from there, his math school work dramatically changed. He went from to struggling with Cs Ds and Fs on math assignments to getting As. Frankly, I wish the school system would adopt the straightforward teaching method Mathnasium uses.
