Mathnasium has been a huge help in strengthening our daughter's confidence with and understanding of age-level math concepts. Mark D. at Mathnasium - Lake Oswego has been a delightful director and instructor to communicate with! A majority of the staff have been helpful and attentive. We appreciate you all so much! I gave a score of 9 as my daughter has experienced a couple instructors whom she feels seem mildly impatient with her at times, who seem to avoid her when her hand is raised, or who talk to her about their personal life (some content not exactly age appropriate) rather than focusing solely on helping her with math. We take into account that not all personalities will be super warm and friendly, but at no point should she feel like she's being avoided by instructors who are there to help. And for those instructors who are warm and friendly but using the time they should be helping to talk about the goings on in their personal lives, while we appreciate the bond and connection attempting to be made, our daughter should not be aware of the details of one's life that are not pertaining to math (e.g., drama with significant others and/or friends, college activities that a student would not engage in or fully understand at this age, etc.). Apart from those concerns, we are still very happy with how Mathnasium has improved our daughter's motivation and academic outlook in math overall. Thank you for all of your hard work and dedication!

Mathnasium does everything they say they will, and my child is already more confident and skilled in math after just 6 months. The staff is knowledgeable, approachable, and have a true understanding of how to help kids. I highly recommend taking your kiddo to Mathnasium!

we have had our kids there for at least three years and Mathnasium has made a great impact on their math skills, which, in turn has increased their overall confidence in learning. Mark and Noah keep us informed of their progress and respond promptly to whatever questions we may have. Mathnasium provides a convenient and effective model to helping kids excel/progress in Math. The Lake Oswego location has an atmosphere that feels comfortable and low key. The staff is great and sets a good tone overall for the students. The kids go to learn, but can also enjoy their time there and build rapport with the tutors. The shout outs and reward system also is fun and gives kids something to work towards and/or feel validated by. My child has progressed steadily in Math and has become more confident in her skills overall as she continues to go to Mathnasium.

I greatly appreciate the individual and individualized attention the Lake Oswego team gives. My otherwise smart granddaughter struggles with math in school classes. The LO team with lots of encouragement have helped keep her focused on progress and instilled in her a belief that with effort she can master what is needed. Our daughter has been going to Mathnasium for a year and loves it so much. All of the teachers are professional, approachable, and great to work with. Our daughter looks forward to going which is a great sign too. The facility is clean, organized, and run very well too.

We've been extremely pleased with Mathnasium as our son's math habits, grades and attitude have improved substantially since he began.

We see significant progress my son made through attending Mathnasium on regular basis. We really enjoyed reading the assessment reports which are always very thorough - it provides % improvement from last time, showing the area of achievement and area needs more help. So, we know in details where my son is at in terms of different skills in math. The Lake Oswego location is very well run and managed, we highly recommend this place for kids who enjoys learning!

I like that I can take my kid at any time and not have to call ahead. The hours are very convenient. My kid is happy to come out of there and feel a bit more accomplished. I can bring in current math material she is working on or just have her continue to work on her basics: win-win situation.

I’ve told many friends with kids about mathnasium. It is great that you don’t need appointments, there is no home work, and parents don’t have to stay there. We’ve seen great improvement and my son seems to not mind going and he complains about everything!
