Mathnasium has given my daughter an opportunity to really supplement her math experience from school. I couldn’t imagine another situation where she would be more motivated to spend time on math. She seems to actually enjoy it. A lot of her friends are there and it is great that there is a normalized place for her to be spending time doing math Outside of school! The staff seem great and they give her a really personalized experience. They always call her name when she comes and goes. The material is not necessarily the same as what they are doing at that moment in school, so don’t expect it to necessarily immediately boost grades. Instead, I consider it an opportunity to consolidate math knowledge and skills in the long run.

Mr G has a wonderful ways with the kids and is very communicative with the parents. Delighted to find a place where my child will willingly go do math! They do a nice job of gamifying and keeping the kids motivated. It also helps to have other kids around doing math too. Highly recommend!

Mr G and his staff are very friendly yet serious about their commitment to helping the kids with whatever their needs are. They provide a very positive environment for after school learning which encourages kids to continue going to the center.

We have only been in Mathnasium for a few weeks, but so far my nine-year-old really likes it. She is doing this for enrichment. She's already a good student and a reasonably good math student. She seems to be motivated to do the work sheets and finds them interesting. It's great because she works at her own level and the teachers so far have been helpful. Mr. G seems extremely dedicated to the center and one telling sign is that I see him calling all the students by name. I also really like that the curriculum is very practical and focused on concepts rather than just memorization. It seems to fit very well into the common core curriculum.

Mathnasium has been fantastic for our family. The owner is always present, ensuring a high-quality experience every time we visit. The well-designed worksheets build a solid math foundation, and the point system motivates kids to attend regularly. My child's math skills and confidence have improved significantly. Highly recommended!

Mathnasium and Mr. G are awesome! My son’s math skills and confidence have improved tremendously in only one month! The curriculum sticks, and the work doesn’t stress my son out, which is huge! The staff is very attentive and friendly. My son feels very comfortable going in and accomplished going out! I highly recommend Mathnasium, Mercer Island!

A major bonus is that our son loves going to Mercer Island's Mathnasium. He was behind in math because of being homeschooled so he has gaps in his learning, but thanks to Mathnasium, he is getting caught up and will be ready for 9th grade geometry next year. We are concurrently doing high school algebra at home while he has his learning gaps filled in at Mathnasium. It's a wonderful resource; glad we found it.

My daughter started mathnasium in third grade and was placed two years behind. Now that she is in 5th grade she is testing at grade level by mathnasium standards and above grade level by her school standards. This program is way better than the iready program used by her school. My son just started this program this year and I’m hoping he will similarly be able to learn math this way as he’s also tracking two years behind grade level.

This program has really helped my daughter learn math. This program works well for children who are self-motivated and have good focus. It also requires a time commitment of 3x/3 hours a week.
