The tutors work so well with my granddaughter who had major gaps in her early education due to the shutdown year when she missed an entire year of school. She has always struggled with math and felt she hated math, but since she has been working with Mathnasium her self-confidence has grown and happier with herself.
Emma-Cate is great to work with and has worked so well with our family's circumstances regarding my granddaughter's attendance. Her mother sets Kenzie's schedule which is balanced with her own work schedule. Kenzie has moved up a level since she started 3+ months ago.
Our daughter failed first semester in 11th grade Algebra. Because of prior concussions she has had increasingly difficulty with math. Her grades in first semester this year started out in the 30s and rose to the high forties at the end of the semester. Starting out the second semester, her first grades have come in at an average of 70. We consider this a success and we know that Mathnasium is helping to fill in gaps for her for the future, regardless of what her grades turn out to be the remainder of the year.
My daughters attitude towards math has improved drastically in just a little over a month and her grades in school have improved. She looks forward to mathnasium every week.
Great staff! Friendly environment and enjoyable for the students. There's always something going on to give the students something to look forward to and stay motivated! Mathnasium makes math fun!
Sending my son to Mathnasium is the best decision I could have made for his education. I can see the change in his thought process on how he approaches math & his grades in math have improved tremendously. I can see a change in his confidence with his approach to math. I am grateful for the instructors & management at the Westchester location as well as his comfort level with them there.
My daughter was in virtual learning for three years due to the pandemic. As a result, her math fact skills were on a third grade level. She was entering the sixth grade. Her math SOL score after the fifth grade was a 403, which was passing, but barely. I enrolled her into Mathnasium and she worked with her tutors and improved her math fact skills. If she didn't understand a concept, the tutors worked with her until she got it. I received monthly updates on her progress, which was very helpful. Her math SOL score at the end of sixth grade was a 455 and she's taking Seventh Grade Honors Math for the upcoming school year.
My daughter had trouble learning her math facts due to the pandemic. She was getting good grades in math, but she would use her fingers, and had to think about answers to basic questions. Mathnasium brought her math skills up a couple of levels. They even reviewed concepts that she was having trouble with in school.
We are so glad we could help you. Thank you for the kind comments Feruza. It was so nice to meet you in person!

Mathnasium has really helped change my daughter's attitude about Math. Thank you for helping her have fun and realize the importance of math at the same time.
We've had a great experience with Mathnasium of Midlothian, Virginia. Our girl was struggling with math prior to beginning tutoring and now she's got As and Bs and is thinking about moving to honors math next year.
