I wanted to share my appreciation and feedback regarding my son’s progress. From what I have observed and from feedback I have received from his school, he is doing very well in math and seems to be growing in both confidence and understanding. I have also heard that he is helping classmates, which makes me very proud to see him applying his skills to support others. Since he doesn’t always like to share details about his sessions at home, I really rely on and value the feedback from your instructors. It helps me better understand his progress and areas of growth. If possible, I would truly appreciate more detailed updates when available, as they are very helpful for me to stay involved and support him effectively. Thank you for the great work you are doing and for supporting his learning.

Ava’s confidence has grown so much, which has led her to truly love math. She now approaches it with excitement and curiosity instead of hesitation. I am so thankful for all of the staff at Mathnasium, they do incredible work and have made such a positive impact on her learning and confidence.

Mathnasium has provided our student with a head start on her school classmates and has kept her in front. It is an important gift for a student to actually like Math and as the US is so far behind other countries in this critical skill, it is nice to know there are competent, engaging tutors just around the corner...

We love Mathnasium and have been with them for almost three years. When we first started, our kids were mostly motivated by the rewards and snacks (a great bonus!), but over time they’ve become intrinsically motivated as they’ve seen the benefits in their day-to-day life and in their math classes. Marzena and Konnor are wonderful and truly care about helping kids improve their skills. They are always flexible and understanding when we’ve needed to move sessions around (when possible and without disrupting the groups), which we really appreciate. We would recommend Mathnasium not only for kids who are struggling in math, but also for those who want to challenge themselves and build confidence

I can't say my kids love spending their free time doing math, but they LOVE the outcome on their comprehension, comfort and confidence with anything math-related! My only regret, is we didn't discover Monterey's Mathnasium earlier.

We've been with Mathnasium for a short time, but the improvement my son has shown is incredible! His confidence is growing, and he loves coming to Mathnasium every session. Thank you for making math a positive experience for him!

Mathnasium has improved our kids’ foundational math skills to give them the confidence to excel in their school math classes. They enjoy working with the tutors and getting the face to face assistance and feedback while they work.

My granddaughter is now out-thinking me when it comes to doing math in her head. I have been helping her with math homework for 3+ years now and since joining Mathnasium, demands on my help have dropped to almost zero. Just recently she has shown the ability to out-calculate me in her head and when I check her results, she's correct! In a very short period of time, she went from mediocre results (she suffered a concussion and lost some math ability) to where she can perform 4+ digit math IN HER HEAD. Gone are the days of removing shoes and socks to get to the extra "10 toes" to work with (10 fingers are never enough). Joking aside, my daughter and I find ourselves thinking we wish we had gone to Mathnasium when we were my granddaughter's age. It would have made my life a WHOLE LOT EASIER! All I can say is that the plan they constructed for her to work thru is working. YAY!

My daughter really enjoys her sessions and all of the different instructors. She is very engaged and challenged but not too much. Enough to have her confidence build when she can use the tools she's learning to push through a new problem.

My daughter has told us great things about her experience, its been helping with math and using different strategies, and the instructors were very helpful. Overall, mathnasium has helped improve her math skills.

Both of my children have been attending Mathnasium for the past two years, and the growth we’ve seen—not only in their math skills but also in their confidence—has been incredible. My 7th grader often shares that she already knows the material before it’s even introduced in class, and her classmates now look to her for help! That’s a huge shift from where we started. The instructors are consistently patient, friendly, and engaging. Konner and Marzenna, the Directors, go above and beyond. They truly listen to feedback and work with me to make sure the learning plan reflects what my children are working on in school—or any areas they might have missed. They’ve even built in supplemental lessons when needed, and they’re always open to reteaching concepts and helping with homework when things don’t quite click the first time. What I appreciate most is how much they welcome parent involvement. It really feels like a team effort to support my kids’ success in a well-rounded way. We’re so grateful to be part of the Mathnasium family!
