All of my kids have benefited greatly because of Mathnasium’s support. It was needed greatly and the Owners/Staff have been kind and helpful.

Our son struggled in math throughout elementary school, and we enrolled him at Mathnasium certain he wouldn’t like it as we had tried a couple other tutoring places. To our surprise, he enjoyed it, and it was not a struggle to get him there. It’s built his confidence in how he can do math. We are very grateful to Malcolm and his team for their work.

It seems Reign is adjusting to learning math with the help of Mathnasium. He was against tutoring in the beginning. Malcom was great with having Reign be as comfortable as possible with the assessments and starting the classes. We plan to keep Reign enrolled during the school year to help him be confident with learning 3rd grade level math. Thank you!

We absolutely love Mathnasium of Northwest Reno! The tutors are outstanding, and our son has made tremendous progress. Mathnasium has helped fill in the gaps in his math knowledge, and he’s now nearly at grade level. We've even seen noticeable improvement in his state test scores. We highly recommend Mathnasium to all our friends!

Malcolm and his team are truly exceptional—knowledgeable, patient, and deeply committed to helping each child build confidence and improve their math skills. They take the time to understand each student’s individual needs and learning style, creating a supportive environment where progress feels achievable and even fun. Their dedication makes a real difference in helping students not only catch up but also excel. My daughter was behind in Math when she started but is now ahead of where she needs to be.

We had gone to other tutors in Truckee and it really didn’t help our daughter. She started Mathnasium her junior year with hard math after being a child of Covid homeschool during pivotal years, and they helped her pull her grade to a B+. She gained confidence, loved the teachers, and learned a lot. Very thankful for them.

My son loves it and has improved already. We have referred friends. I wish it was a little quieter, but my son seems to be able to concentrate enough.

Since going to Mathnasium my daughter understands math better. She loves the tutors and has developed more confidence in her math skills. She is playing catchup right now to get up to her grade level of math. I intend to keep her in Mathnasium on through highschool.

I'm so happy that my child has such wonderful support in their group. The Mathnasium teachers are incredibly friendly and have a great approach to teaching. My child truly enjoys going there, and I can see a noticeable difference in their learning. The creative manager Malcolm is fantastic—always positive, open to new ideas, and eager to explore fresh ways of teaching and connecting with the children.
