We started bringing our 6-year-old daughter to Mathnasium of Pacific Heights in February, and the transformation has been incredible. Before Mathnasium, she really struggled with math and would get frustrated easily—she genuinely didn’t enjoy it. Now, just a few months later, she loves math and actually looks forward to every session. She even asks when she can go back! The instructors have done such an amazing job building her confidence and making learning feel fun and engaging. It’s been so rewarding to see her not only improve academically, but also develop a positive mindset around math. For any parent whose child is struggling or even just needs a confidence boost, I couldn’t recommend Mathnasium of Pacific Heights more highly. It’s made such a meaningful difference for our family. 10/10—would absolutely refer to friends and family.

My daughter is progressing and is highly incentivized by the prizes offered. She always asks when her next Mathnasium session is as she’s collecting and saving cards for a bigger prize.

We love Mathnasium at Pacific Heights! My child has been attending this Mathnasium for over 3 years, and he is now 9 years old. He has grown up in Math along with the dedicated teachers here. They are an excellent team and we cannot be more grateful for their support, motivation, and willingness to go above and beyond to ensure that my child is excelling and having fun. He has surpassed his grade level in Math, and when asked what his favorite subject in school is, he enthusiastically says Math! As a parent, I am thrilled to hear him say that because who really loves Math? My child's national testing scores administered at his school is also proof that he is doing amazing in Math, consistently above average! We drive across town to attend this Mathnasium Pacific Heights because it is that good. We've done summer camps here, too. They have the best rewards and it makes it so much fun for the kids to earn them. I'm happy to answer any questions from parents if you're thinking about it. Thank you to the team for all you do and sharing your passion and dedication for Math to the community and kids!

Sharpens my son’s math skills

Jae Hee, Marshall and the rest of the team are just right balance of fun and focus. They let the kids be kids, and enjoy the kids, but gently guide them back again and again to the math. The wheel spins and snacks and prizes are great motivation and my child has made significant progress in math at school. Per my kid's needs, Mathnasium helps ensure the full understanding of the basics that allows him to keep up with the lessons at school by drawing from that base knowledge. I have already recommended Mathnasium to my sister and another parent.

I appreciate the Mathnasium's programs for my two children for the following reasons: focused and efficient learning for each child, all work is done in class, content and learning are trackable through progress reports, and the Pac Heights location has great teachers and staff who have been responsive, accommodating with schedule changes, and super helpful.

We are so grateful to have found this math tutoring center! What stands out most is how much they truly care about my child's progress and overall well-being. They go above and beyond to make sure my child feels supported, confident, and successful. There have even been times when they adjusted their schedule or made accommodations, sometimes at a loss to themselves, just to make sure my child didn’t miss out on the help he needed. That level of dedication is rare and deeply appreciated. We couldn’t ask for a better place to support our child’s learning journey. Highly recommend!

Our son has come a long way this past year at Mathnasium. We knew there were some basic math skills that were not picked up during the pandemic. Mathnasium has been great for him, helping with filling in the blanks. He is a lot more confident now in his Algebra class at school, and looks forward to going to Mathnasium to continue his learning process.

My daughter’s math confidence has increased tenfold since starting Mathnasium - it’s worth every penny. She started the year in August behind her peers and by January felt like she was able to keep up at school. She hated math, but from the start she described Mathnasium as “fun” - thank you Mathnasium for turning a struggle into a victory!
