Mathnasium is a welcoming place with a well trained staff who know how to instill difficult concepts. Lisa's self esteem has risen greatly because she is better at math. And, as a mother, I know that not only has her ability at school has increased, but her life skills have been enhanced.
Unfortunately Elanor is not committed to Mathnasium. She needs help in multiplication tables but doesn't seem to be going ahead with what she is doing there now. Could we make an appointment with Karen to talk about this. Elanor wants to quit. [FIRST NAME REMOVED] (grandmother)
Instructors engage in a manner that connects the kids to the program. My 10 year old daughter says it's way better than a tutor. She has never cared much for math before, but after several months showing success at Mathnasium, she now claims "math is fun!"
Sydney seems more confident when doing her math. She actually asks to go to Mathnasium more often than not. She seems to have connected with the tutors and enjoys going. I can tell she's getting stronger in her math skills!
Great teachers, always helpful, just a great program. My son wants to be there and actually asks to go...some weeks he has too much other homework but we try and get in a couple times a week at the very least.
The learning curve, format and cost structure of Mathnasium ideally suited our daughter and our busy schedule. The motivational framework and "fun of learning" approach led to our daughter insisting she went regularly!
With one test Mathnasium was able to identify all the missing pieces in my child's math understanding that her school teacher seemed to not recognize or simply not be able to help with. They provided packets of work and education to help fill in the "gaps". My child loves going there and now remembers how "Fun" math can be.
