Alison and the Redondo Beach team are very kind, friendly, and create such a calm, positive, stress-free environment for my kids to learn math. My kids are young - 4 and 6 years old. Kindness and a stress-free environment are crucial for them. I am very happy they are enrolled at Mathnasium, as I see them becoming more confident at school. Additionally, it gives them the freedom to explore other things without feeling the need to catch up. Alison is always on top of things logistically. She is available whenever I need to adjust the schedule or talk about kids' challenges. I am very happy. Thank you. Ksenia Peter

A great program, strengthening every foundational skill and buildings up. Staff is helpful and knowledgeable. Love that we can pop in without being locked into a scheduled time. I highly recommend.

My son has been a part of the Mathnasium community for the last 3.5 years. Despite the fact that the Director of the center has changed 3 times since, they manage to keep a good learning plan that is adjusted to the childs' needs. Mine is ahead of the curve and they keep him challenged. I also appreciate the constant communication channel between the center and the parents. This enables us (as parents) to not just be aware of what's happening, but also allows us to adjust the plan if we feel the need to. I haven't had to adjust the plan recently. So, the current director is fantastic (Alex is his name) and very attuned to what the kid needs. Would highly recommend this place to anyone who is struggling with math, or is wanting to hyper accelerate.

My daughter previously attended another learning center, but I noticed she was becoming disinterested and bored. The learning methods there weren’t effective, and she lacked the motivation to attend—it felt like she was going just for the sake of it. However, since joining Mathnasium of Redondo Beach, she truly enjoys the learning experience. The center doesn't assign homework, which allows her to complete her schoolwork on time. The various motivational activities keep her engaged, and the experienced teachers explain concepts in a clear and easy-to-understand way. I've seen a significant improvement in her academic performance, and I would highly recommend Mathnasium to friends and family.

My kids look forward to going each week and don’t look at it as something they “have” to do. The incentive program is a huge hit with my two kids and fosters some healthy competition between them. They like the program director and appreciate that he and the tutors always seem to be in a good mood. My daughter said it has really helped her to get a refresher on reducing fractions.
