My son has been having a great experience and certainly is advancing in his math skills. He has become more inquisitive regarding calculations which only reinforces what he is being taught. Also, the Staff are very accommodating and friendly.

Mathnasium of San Ramon is a great place for my daughter to learn math and improve her math skills. The center is full of professional tutors and kids won't feel lonely at all. my daughter enjoys math more than before after she attends the learning center. Highly recommended.

I enrolled my son in August 2025 to build a stronger foundation for Math. One of the strengths of our local Mathnaseium center is their flexibility with customized curriculum building. Conferences can be set up for parents to check in on progress and discuss any concerns. I like that there are incentives (prizes) for the student to do “x” amount of pages of math per session. My son has built a good relationship with the the personnel at the learning center. Opportunities for the center would be more careful examination of the final answers. I have found some discrepancies in my sons’ answers to some problems where he said his instructor said they were correct, but they were not. I do personally believe in mastering a concept vs number of pages completed (ie quality over quantity). Overall, Mathnaseium provides a positive environment for learning under friendly staff. There also has been objective improvement in my son’s math scores which indicates the two - 60 minute sessions per week is effective. For parents who struggle to sit down with their child(ren) to do math, I do recommend Mathnaseium as an alternative.

My two kids have been going to Mathnasium for over a year now, and we absolutely love it. The staff and atmosphere are incredibly positive, and the quality of learning is truly unparalleled. Our absolute favorite is Ms. Dorris—she makes my kids feel so comfortable and confident that they actually prefer going to math class over watching a movie 🍿. My kids are thriving here, and I can’t recommend this center enough to parents and kids who want to build a genuine love for math.

Both my children love coming here. The center directors and staff keep it interesting for the kids. The prizes for finishing work and progress checks are pretty cool! As a parent, I love the updates I get on my kids’ progress and what they will be focusing on to prepare them for the next level. The staff are friendly and caring. I definitely recommend!

We’ve been attending Mathnasium San Ramon Center for over a year now. My daughter, who started at age 7, is still genuinely excited to go to her math classes. This is exactly what I had hoped for: a place where she enjoys learning and feels enthusiastic about math. Doris and the entire team have been amazing. They closely monitor my daughter’s progress and consistently share helpful feedback. Over time, her confidence in math has grown tremendously as her skills have improved. She now feels comfortable tackling any math problems at school and truly enjoys solving them. I highly recommend Mathnasium, especially for young learners. It’s a wonderful environment that builds both skill and confidence in math.

My child has been attending Mathnasium for about two years, and we couldn’t be happier! The team does a wonderful job encouraging critical thinking and welcoming every question from their young learners. I’m so impressed with my child’s progress — and even more with his excitement to come to Mathnasium every week! The instructors are knowledgeable and patient, and the program directors are very attentive, making sure their learning stays both solid and fun. Every few months, I receive a detailed progress report, which helps me understand how to best support his learning at home. I highly recommend Mathnasium and plan to keep my child enrolled — it’s truly been a great experience!

We are so happy with our decision to join Mathnasium at the beginning of this summer! Both my children look forward to attending! They are always welcomed and greeted with such positive energy! I feel like my kiddos have been embraced there and enjoying learning!

Our child loves Mathnasium, they look forward to go there every time. The curriculum is engaging and kids love to talk about what they did in the sessions. It would be great if more insights are shared with the parents like a personal newsletter describing the various skills being mastered/ mastering / in progress etc. , with sample questions they are solving. This will give parents more info on working on a particular skill at home along with school work.

We have been with Mathnasium for almost 2 years. It has been a great experience. Lois Chan and her team have been great. The boys have reached their middle school math goals by getting prepared for and passing placement tests for high school math courses. Mathnasium complemented their middle school math classwork at school. One of the boys was able to place out of Algebra 1 and the other boy was able to place out of both Algebra 1 and Geometry. Thanks again to Lois and team!

We tried different Math Tutorials in the Area. Mathnasium San Ramon Team stood up. They’re very accommodating, flexible and helpful regarding my daughter concerns in School.

The San Ramon Center Manager, Lois (at time of signup) and Tutor Lead, Doris are both amazing! They make the students feel welcome, and have the most upbeat and positive attitude that flows through to the students. The center is organized and communicates very well - I received notifications when my child mastered a lesson and other progress check-ins along the way. The proven Mathnasium system in conjunction with Lois and Doris's professionalism, I would highly recommend to anyone seeking to support their child in the subject of math. Not only did my kids' test scores improve at school, but their overall confidence within math also increased dramatically.

Since joining Mathnasium, San Ramon, our daughter has grown tremendously in both her math skills and overall self confidence. She enjoys the chance to build her learning each visit, and we love the focus on continuous growth. The reward system keeps her motivated, and she takes pride in earning something fun after each session. The staff is wonderful and always supportive and communicative, with regular updates on her progress. We’re so glad we found Mathnasium. It’s truly a positive difference.
