I was spending hours each night trying to relearn math so I could teach my child and then spend additional time doing and checking homework. Mathnasium has allowed me to not have to worry about math. Homework is completed and they assist my child with preparing for quizzes and tests. I was skeptical when we started but it has significantly helped my child. He even finished the year with an A!

I’m sure this is relatable to many others out there—I battled the challenges of juggling my home life, work schedule, and finding ways for my son to both understand math, and also enjoy it. Evening homework routines became dreadful and debilitating because he would do everything in his power to get out of doing his math homework. His grades began to suffer and I finally had to do something that kept him from journeying on a downward slope. After doing some research, I decided to give Mathnasium a visit. I spoke about my concerns and my son’s struggles. They assured me that I wasn’t alone with feeling defeated and confidently knew they could turn things around. As I picked up my son from his first day at Mathnasium, he had a smile from ear to ear and couldn’t wait to go back. I went from hearing that he hated math to enjoying it. I’m not trying to toot anyone’s horn or say anything cliché; I would recommend anyone with similar concerns to give Mathnasium a chance to ease the burdens and allow the opportunity for better outcomes. Thank you again Mathnasium!

The fact that I don’t have to try and relearn 6th grade math to teach it to my son is a tremendous help. He gets the assistance he needs from someone who knows how to explain it and any questions are immediately answered. His homework is always completed and accurate. His quiz and test grades have improved as well.

We've had such a great experience at Mathnasium of St Aug the last 3 years. My son has had great support and reassurance from his tutors from 6th through 8th grades. Their help has been key to him catching up from lost instructional support during quarantine and improving his grades and FAST scores. Everyone there is part of his support network, even if they aren't his direct tutor. The environment is always collegial and friendly, safe, clean, and supportive of learning.

Jim, the owner of Mathnasium St Augustine, has been incredible. Excellent people skills and genuinely cares about your child's success. The format and access to high quality tutors is unmatched. My sons both enjoy going and have learned so much! I highly recommend not just Mathnasium, but this location in particular!

My son was always advanced in math.
At some point he fell behind & lost all his confidence and his love of doing math.
After the 2nd day of attending Mathnasium, he looked forward to going.
Now a few months later he loves math again & his excitement is back. He looks forward to going & gained his confidence back.

I have two kids enrolled in Mathnasium. Both kids were two years behind due to school closures for COVID. Both kids are EXCELLING in math and are performing above grade level. They both said math is now one of their favorite subjects. They have been attending Mathnasium a little under 10 months and I can’t believe the growth. The staff is AMAZING. If your child is struggling in math I would HIGHLY recommend taking the time to talk to Mr. Jim.
