We’ve had such a positive experience with Mathnasium! My sons have been attending weekly sessions for about 6 months now, and we’re already seeing so much progress! There’s no work packets they have to work on outside of session, so it helps them stay focused on working through the math problems during the session, and earning rewards also helps them stay motivated. It’s also preparing them to get ahead so that they are prepared for advanced math and can keep up with it.

We have been with Mathnasium of Torrance for over a month now. My daughter Abigail really enjoys coming here to learn and to get help with homework. All the teachers have been so patient and helpful, she scored A for her first math test at school! She was so happy and so were we the parents. Howard, the manager, is very easy to work with. He's so flexible and has been accommodating to our schedules. We're truly happy and feel so blessed to find this center to get help on math.

My kids were already doing well in Math, but once they started with the Mathnasium approach, they went beyond all expectations. We love Mathnasium! Joey takes such incredbile care with the students and works to keep math fun and the center environment safe. He goes above and beyond!! The teachers have been great for my first grader and she leaves feeling encouraged, motivated, and more confident in her skills.

Mathnasium has truly been a game-changer for my daughter! Their personalized 1-on-1 approach, combined with their traditional paper and pencil method, made all the difference in her learning. She went from struggling and underperforming in math to excelling above her grade level in just a couple of months. The tutors are patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in her success, Joey is an amazing human being and he revamped this location to a whole different level. It's amazing to see her confidence grow alongside her skills. I can't recommend Mathnasium enough for any parent looking to help their child not just catch up, but thrive in math!

The Torrance Mathnasium program is structured well. Students know where and how to access their learning materials. Students are in small groups and helped with whatever skill they need help with. Parents receive a progress report every time they attend which is very helpful for the parent to know exactly how their child is progressing. I highly recommend the Torrance Mathnasium to meet your child’s math needs!

My daughter was really struggling in math at the beginning of the junior high school year but after just a couple months she learned so much and enjoyed going for tutoring. All of the tutors and staff are very friendly and helpful.
