I think Dee is a fantastic leader, all the staff are friendly and helpful. My son has never complained about going, he ahs been going 3-4 nights a week since July! This is the best tutoring we have ever come across for our child.
My boys really and truly enjoy coming to Mathnasium! I wasn't sure how it would go but they really do look forward to going, whicn makes my life easier. We know that it can be tough to take kids to any extracurricular activity when they might be in the middle of playing at home. But my third grader really excited and my fourth grader loves the reward system. And as a bonus, they are actually UNDERSTANDING math more and not just "getting through" it!!! No more homework tears!!! Thank you Mathnasium!!
I would recc this center. As the year goes on, I do wish they would pay closer attention to how teens use their time while at the center. Phones, texting, distractions from younger clients can all become a hindrance as habit patterns form to what needs to be math-only time for some clients. My daughter is definitely served by being there, but was better served when always in the separate room & without so much of her tech vying for her attn during her 90mins there. We need a Friday time option at this center... Saturday does not work for us. (
In an ideal world, there would be hours available 6 days a week so families could figure out a 5 day schedule that worked best for them.)
Absolutely loved our time there, my girls learned so much in just 8 weeks. I wish you had some kind of scholarship program (maybe have kids go out and hand out fliers or speak at various venues to earn days) for low income families, or some kind of "adopt a student" program? These are the students who need your help most and sadly you have nothing to offer. All that you make from kids you should be remembering the Golden Rule: "To whom much is given, much is expected". I would love to talk with you about starting this type of program for "underprivileged or handicapped" children?? Feel free to contact me: Audrey Pierce, [EMAIL ADDRESS REMOVED] or [PHONE NUMBER REMOVED].
I love the fact that all of the staff takes pride in going above and beyond to ensure that my daughter gets the help that she needs and deserves in efforts to be more successful in Math. They have really done an amazing job and my daughter has improved drastically. She loves going here 5 days a week. I would not trade this staff for anyone else they are truly amazing.
Well, this has been a journey for me. Before the positive transition of management occurred, I was getting ready to end this relationship. I spoke to Mr. Dan, who is one of the most memorable young talents that I have encountered,in a while. He encouraged me to stick with the current program and he guaranteed that my experience would change. He took my concerns very personal and I felt he guinely cared. That is a rare commodity in todays world. He took the time to introduce me to Ms.D which I knew if she was under was under his tooledge, she was going to be an asset to the kids. I think Ms. Dee is a good fit, she seems to care for the kids and like Mr.Dan, she appears to foster organization and order. For kids on so many varying levels of math academic, structure, organization and learning consistency, remains they keys to success. As this school season is about to begin, we will hope the kids stay engaged and top notch tutors are employed.
I think your program is wonderful, my granddaughter went to another one of your other schools almost 2 years ago, now I have been blessed and Both granddaughters are able to take advantage of the Fabulous Staff here at Tuskawilla and all their tutoring skills. My one concern is the cost. Perhaps there could be some kind of program for low income families?
