My daughter, who is 7 years old and in Year 2, attends Mathnasium every week after school, and we’ve seen a real positive difference in her approach to maths. She is much more confident now and is willing to try questions that she would have previously found challenging.
The instructors are patient, encouraging, and explain concepts in a way that really makes sense to her. The learning feels personalised, focusing on the areas where she needs support while also helping her build on what she already knows.
She genuinely enjoys going each week, and we’ve noticed not only an improvement in her skills, but also in her confidence and attitude towards maths at school. I would highly recommend Mathnasium to any parent looking for extra support in a structured and friendly environment.
Joining Mathnesium has been amazing, my sons (Micah and Michel) are grateful to have had the opportunity to learn over the summer holiday and they enjoyed learning at the Whetstone Centre, and looked forward to going each day.
Thank you once again for the opportunity.
Abdul is a great leader. He is receptive and great with kids. He is able to effectively keep an eye on staff.
The quality of teachers is mixed eg
Frederiko is very good
Other teachers struggle to engage or explain to young kids as effectively
Our daughter went to the Whetstone branch, although she wasn't very keen at first!
The staff were all really helpful, and patient in waiting to see if our daughter was happy there.
She worked for her GCSE year with regular weekly visits and she arrived at exam time with confidence.
We were very happy with the overall service at Mathnasium Whetstone and would happily recommend it.

Mathnasium has provided a good learning structure Jakob. He has integrated his sessions into his study habits. He goes happily and is doing well in his set at secondary school. I observe him developing a real interest in math. I think that Mathnasium can take a good portion of the credit for this.
