Daughter v happy and enjoying maths so much more since starting at mathnasium

I could not be happier with the support our daughter has received. She was really struggling with maths at school and had lost confidence, but since starting here she has completely turned a corner. She now goes in happy and comes out smiling every time. The one-to-one support and structured approach have made such a difference, and the staff are incredibly attentive to each child’s individual needs. Her confidence and ability have improved so much over the past year—it’s honestly been one of the best decisions we’ve ever made. I can’t recommend this enough.

I know this happens but maybe the changing staff recently caused a small bump but my daughter is still enjoying the lessons. I would say that now and again she says some kids talk a lot (not maths talk) and that can distract her from the maths. Maybe she also gets sucked in to the talking too but she at times does find it annoying. Maybe the tutors could monitor more closely at times.

A welcoming and supportive environment with coaches who are clearly passionate about maths. Also, the feedback received is good and the progression is visible.

Our daughter has been at Mathnasium for 6 months and had her autumn test last week. She scored 76% which is the best score she’s achieved in senior school (she’s in year 9) We think Mathnasium has done the following: 1. Increased confidence 2. Reduced anxiety towards maths 3. Made maths “normal” 4. Given her the times to work through concepts with support 5. Shown her she is capable! We are delighted!

Such a helpful, convenient location that allows my daughter to independently go for her maths tuition to help in her GCSE years. The structure of her sessions is realistic and the feedback and communication with parents if great.

It is much better than expected. My daughter enjoys her study, the environment, teachers, and all the extras that make it fun. All the small extras such as creating own holder, spinning wheel, collecting stars, different rewards system, sweets after completing the work, etc are making the huge difference to the atomosphere and motivation.
