This softener does a great job. We have relatively hard well water that was leaving a residue on faucets (and probably in water pipes and our water heater). Adding a water softener has made a big difference - no water spotting residue, hair & skin feels much better. This is a set it and forget it unit with the exception of adding salt to the container occasionally - maybe 3 to 4 times a year for our requirements.

Our well water treatment system works flawlessly, water tastes great. We do have McCardel come out each spring for a service checkup, they replace RO filters and verify the system settings are correct and water pressure is good, they also test for solids in the water, both before and after the filter. All in all we are very pleased.
