I think that 8 is a pretty good considering the facts that I've only had the system for a few weeks and there were problems with the initial installation. Culligan did address these problems quickly and in a friendly manor but it did take a few tries.
To earn a 9 or 10 you would have had to solve the initial problems in only one try and your salesman would have had to have been more clear about the fact that I was getting used equipment.
I was told we were to get a discounted bill, which did not happen. We had been having problems for some time with our system. It ruined our R/O system and our kitchen faucet, both of which need replacing. I have had to have my washer repaired and was told by the repairman that we needed to get a softening system. When I told him that we had one, his response was, "Well, it's not doing what it is supposed to do!"
