I have used Culligan equipment for 3 decades - or more. I love the way it softeners water. Now I have a well, and the water has iron bacteria, which is just awful to deal with. Culligan as been helpful. But if you get a salesperson or technician who does not understand iron bacteria and that it takes more than Culligan equipment to solve the problem, you will have a horrible time with brownish/orangeish water. They need to be trained to tell people about "shocking" their well.
