We feel the Y is providing us with the ability to fill a need in our life for exercise capability on a convenient basis. We are retired and have some health needs that that can be met through the Y facility. Thank you. [FIRST NAME REMOVED] and Marguerite [LAST NAME REMOVED]
I should have switched to YMCY from LA Fitness years ago. The pool is always kept up, clean, and the perfect temperature. Your staff is friendly and doesn't spend hours on their cell phones.
It's great that you offer a wide variety of programs, classes, and activities for all ages and fitness levels. The staff is friendly and always ready to help and I think that encourages the members working out at the Y to be friendly and respectful. The workout areas and pool area are clean and well maintained as is the exercise equipment.
I joined just a few weeks ago, and The McCleskey Y-East Cobb has offered a great experience so far.
I have just moved here from Texas and have tried all the water aerobics classes (and will continue to attend). What a fun way to get exercise without having to get all hot and sweaty!
The class members are friendly and make you feel welcome. And the instructors—especially those on MWF—are enthusiastic and get you energized.
I would advise anyone who has not tried water aerobics thinking they won’t get a good workout to come try it. I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised!
This facility offers many activities that are attractive. My grandson attended summer camp there and he really loved being there. The staff is also very friendly and helpful.
Everyone’s very friendly and caring.
Instructors very nice as well.
Classes are Great !
Camp is good, not really liking them being out in the heat for the last 2 hours of camp for those who stay past 4pm.
More activities for the kids, a better water slide that’s big enough for the older kids, it’s not fair to them it’s for little kids.
Better arts an craft projects, in STEM more labs and activities.
Maybe a field trip for the older kids, if not all the kids.?! They would love that.
Why is there not an outdoor pool like other Y’s ?
I’ve spoken to many of the parents, they agree with me about these things !
I really don’t understand what all the weekly costs are covering ? We send all food a snacks, no field trips, no outside activities coming in, like karate, dance, gymnastics, etc……
I wanted them to come to the Y because of everything I have read about in the Y app.
So I was excited for them to attend the Y camp, but I’m happy with the staff, but very disappointed in the camp.
