it was great to see older movies, and the price was just right, $5 is worth it to see a classic movie. Bring back Star Wars. Only issue was the sound, it was way too loud.
Great service and clean theaters!
The company I work for does a lot of service work for megaplex locations and I make a point to only go to megaplex theaters.
Your seats are super comfy, screen and screening space the best in Salt Lake City. We love the food options as well , great movies like Chosen are always screened in Jordan Commons.
You guys are fine.
Three people sat in the seats I purchased for my family Friday night (Minecraft).
The lady who took our seats was entirely in the wrong, but didn't think she was wrong (she had purchased 3 seats in the FRONT row of the theater, thinking it was the BACK row).
Since the back row wasn't full, we could scoot down and accommodate her mistake. When she looked more closely at her ticket and finally realized she was sitting in our seats, she apologized but didn't move.
I hate when people think an apology is the same thing as fixing a problem. It isn't.
Anyway, Megaplex Theater did nothing wrong, but thanks for letting me vent about this lady.
I have already told multiple people about our experience viewing “Pride and Prejudice” at the Jordan Commons Megaplex. I feel like the $5 showings of classics revisiting the big screens is a bargain too long in coming to the industry. I realize that a theater only viewing oldies is not a solution for filling all seats, but it is a welcome addition to the market place. We enjoyed food, snacks and beverages along with the show.
Only creative inputs:
Purchased a hot dog and fries… The fries were amazing! Good hot dog. The condiment cart was placed near the snack pickup window, as it was a 1:00 pm show. Dressing the hot dog, discovered there was no place to put the trash, gathered up my mess and took it to a trash can across the foyer. Suggestion. Small trash near that condiment cart when it is in a usual location.
Next: Film and audio track were out of sync. Had to leave theater to find some one to address the issue. They reacted immediately and fixed it. Might have been good to have a projectionist observe the film as the film itself started to be sure the audio and visuals matched.
Overall a delightful Friday afternoon at your theater. Though I have comments , still 10 stars!
