The Jordan Common IMAX is the best large format theater in Utah in terms of the screen and the sound. The only drawback is the seating. The lower seating viewing angles are tough and there is only one row of "luxury" seats. I am a filmmaker and navigate several film groups and communities and this theater is a constant topic of conversation. Like we all are hoping Megaplex goes all in on turning the Jordan Commons IMAX theater into the can't miss viewing experience for all major studio releases. If you made the seating in the lower bowl start further back even if you lost a number of seats you could charge more and extend the tilt of the seating so it is angled up as you recline, now all of those seats are highly desired. Then do a similar thing for a portion of the upper level. Then for the last few rows on the lower level and the initial rows upper including the most forward "balcony" row that is out and over the entryway being "signature series" or whatever you want to call it with them more like the seating in the Vineyard IMAX with "couches" you could charge a super premium (I'd pay it) for the upper level "signature" seats ($30) - Megaplex is awesome and I love sitting it the last row in that IMAX theater there is no better film watching perch in the state. And the starts are older and if they were "luxury" I might just move in...
Friendly people! Great location I went to Jordan high school so it’s an iconic location for me. I feel like I know a lot of people that work there like they’re my family and the food and concessions are good.! I love that you feature movies for kids in the summer and old folk movies. Sometimes you do remix that I love celebrating anniversary and stuff. I really do enjoy having all those options and the seats are great.!!
