Very clean facilities and generally supportive staff

I have made several friends at the ymca, all the staff are kind and courteous!

The organization is amazing. Robert runs a really tight program and responds quickly to all emails. The volunteer coaches are the best I've ever seen. My kids do theater classes with Katie as well and she is one of the best y staff. They love her and her classes.

I love all of the different kinds of classes and times available for my children! The programs are well run and engaging, they always have fun and learn new things!

I like all the sports and Arts classes they offer for children. The equipment is nice and up to date. The people at the front desk are very welcoming. The volunteer Coaches and Ref’s are awesome.

I really appreciate the staff but wish there were more programs so you don’t have to try and register first thing to get a spot of your choice.

Every thing is great all the staff members very helpful good for every one.

Great place to for your kids to play baseball and other sports. The environment is awesome it tries to teach simple basic game mechanics to the children without it being so serious that the kids don't have fun.

Love the variety of classes and youth sports leagues! My kids always have a blast and we love the high quality programming. Staff are wonderful at connections and knowing kids by names. Shout out to the entire MKFY Team!

Robert Ashabraner is doing a fantastic job running youth sports leagues. Approachable, friendly, communicative, and sets a wonderful example for coaches. Well done, Robert!

Everything...

The only thing we use the YMCA for is walking on the track. In good weather, we walk outdoors in the local park. During the winter the rain, cold, snow drive us indoors!!

Activities for all ages.

Spinning classes...

I truly love the Y and recommend it to anybody and everybody. It is near and dear to my heart because I worked here at a teenager 15 years ago in the aquatic department. Today 8/4, I was disappointed as I watched a mom jump into the instructional pool to save her young preschool age child who had let go of the wall and was under the water for which probably felt like a lifetime to her. When I was a swim instructor, we were always taught to NEVER turn our back on our class when we take out individuals to practice skills. There are not enough lifeguards out on the pool deck during swim lessons, the poor lifeguard in the center of the instructional pool and main pool is watching both pools, there should be another guard on the pool all side of BOTH pools. Then not a single aquatic lead or director came out to address this mom who jumped in fully clothed.
