The products are just what I need for my DIY projects. The ability to buy short custom lengths with NO cutting charges...fantastic. The folks behind the counter are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Being able to see the stock and select products is just like a supermarket and is a great concept.

The website was a bit misleading, stating that your metal could be cut to your exact specifications. I needed a round sheet of metal and the shop I chose (1615 N. Acadamy Blvd, Colorado Springs), which was the closest, did not have the capability to cut a circle. I was told cutting a circle would be an additional charge and the piece would have to be sent to another shop. The staff asked what it was for and I told them it was for a fire pit repair. Since the circle didn't have to be precise, the staff offered to use their straight cutting tools to cut it to a rough circle. They did this on the next business day and at no additional charge. The staff at this shop were very friendly and helpful and did their very best to ensure I was a happy customer, despite the confusion.

Metal Supermarket has always been friendly with great service. But how you fix a problem can say even more about your character: Recently, they accidently handed me the wrong bar stock- everyone makes mistakes. I called them, they were very accommodating in fixing the issue. To me, this spoke volumes about their level of customer service. I will go to them for everything I can, because I know they will take care of me.
