Mike Vaughan Cycles gives expert, friendly advice to suit individual needs without any sales pressure plus great after sales service. Nothing is too much trouble for Mike's team. My grandson loves calling in at the shop and is thrilled with his new bike. The guys encourage me to keep cycling, with the fall-back position of an electric bike when the hills prove too much of an effort! You can't get better personal service than Mike Vaughan Cycles. It's a very popular place for cyclists, young and old alike, which also generously supports the wider community through charity events, embracing a philosophy of cycling as part of the good life.

For me, this can be a little intimidating ... which brings me to Brian ...
Brian is an excellent salesman who helps one feel at ease.
His relaxed, quiet polite manner is the reason I bought my bike.
He also has a nice subtle sense of humour.
A great man and an inspiration to us all.

The friendly knowledgeable staff make this shop...which is I why I come back time and time again to purchase and get my bikes serviced. I'm a female who has moved from being an overweight newbie on an old hybrid for fitness to dedicated road cyclist.When I took my road bike to South Africa to ride the Cape Town Tour these guys help me pack it and went over and above in sharing tips on reassembly etc. I always feel the advice I have been given is solid, appropriate, informative and never patronising. Always a warm welcome even if I don't purchase every time !
